Do you copy the old DTB manually into the system ?
No. Using the one stored in the new image
Do you copy the old DTB manually into the system ?
No. Using the one stored in the new image
This has been fixed in the new images.
Since which date? From 20200214 and on?
Ive tried today's image and emmc installation doesn't work for me.
The box doesn't see internal storage.
Maybe I get something wrong?
Do I have to kinda mount it manually or something?
I have to mention that earlier releases (summer ones, which were removed from yandex recently) did work. And I'm using the same dtb "rockpro64".
I did a clean install as recommended and now I can't move the system to emmc and roll back to a legacy build as it's no longer present in the cloud.
Which dtb do I have to use for h96 max rk3399 box?
And one more question: is there any build based on stable libreelec? There are some problems with a number of add-ons on kodi19
Upd. Install2emmc script no longer works. The only reason I've been choosing this build
This DTB I am only interested in working eMMC (installing to eMMC).
As far as I have noticed, libreelec sees internal storage on a95x f2 only at first boot, not depending on dtb.
That's why it goes to bootloop after reboot
A95x f2 issues:
1. When installed to emmc goes to bootloop after the first reboot.
2. Cpu cores 0 and 1 constantly loaded from 40 to 90%.
Dtb used is x96rmii. Only this one allows ethernet to work along with the internal memory to be seen
Need to edit (env.ini). You can ignore the Mac address error.
Where it's at? What edits do I have to perform ?
Upd. Solved the problem with ethernet by changing the dtb line to x96maxrmii in both extlinux and uenv.ini also.
The latest version of Elementum still crashes. The previous one OK.
I'm fine for now.
Upd.2 Goes to bootloop if installed to emmc with this dtb
How do you configure the DTB ?
By changing the line in a /extlinux file.
Tried all of them
Situation is similar :
WiFi, cec -OK
Ethernet, elementum launch - nope
During reboot there's an error something like "cannot configure ethernet mac"
You have set up the DTB ?
the errors are the same not depending on dtb used. Seems like changing the dtb makes no difference
does anyone runs it on a ROCKPro64?
I run it on h96 rk3399 box with rockpro64 dtb. It goes fine
Has anyone tried to flash the build to a95x f2 (S905x2) box?
It boots, but without ethernet and a bunch of errors. Also elementum addon wouldn't start, which is vital for me.
CoreELEC s905x2 build wouldn't boot at all on this box.
Would be thankful for advice or solution
is there any tutorial how to extract them?
have figured out that the problem remains only with Balbes150 builds. However only those have the option of emmc install, which is necessary for me.
Is there a solution with Balbes150 builds, or is there any other build providing "installtointernal" feature?
has anyone succeeded to run tvh server on any build? I'm using Rk3399 box with Balbes150 build on it (as it has emmc install option) - the add-on installs correctly, but server wouldn't run. Any solution?
Is there any way for a beginner to modify same device's 4gig version dtb (seen in a neighbour thread)?
Tried all the dtb's - the box doesn't boot
May I ask you to point me the correct build and/or dtb file for RK3399 H96 Max 2g RAM version?
H96 max 2/16 (!) on rockchip 3399.
I have found a lot of options for 4/32 version, but none of them boots the device.
Anyone can point me the right dtb for 2g version and/or the build to use?
Hello. I have seen messages about successfull boot on Tops MX V. Just got this box and can't boot from a USB stick. Tried to use toothstick and update methods - no luck. Box just doesnt boot at all with usb/sd plugged in. Using gxbb_p201_2G device tree. What am I doin wrong?
Any advice will be appreciated
PS Earlier successfully installed Libre on s912 x92 Box
Figured out that tree is the problem. Successfully booted with 1G tree
How do I get whol2 2Gig memory working?
