Thank you so much for that feedback! I don't use a username/password and totally missed both of those issues.
I will correct those and release an update tomorrow.

New fix for non-standard channel numbers. Thanks to LHoust for this one!
Release zap2xml kodi addon · edit4ever/script.module.zap2xml · GitHub
Post #1 updated with the v1.8 release
v1.8 (2017-07-26)
Thank you to those who provided feedback on the test versions!
Interesting - glad it's working! I'm not very familiar with IPTV streams - so maybe it was just a null response from the server on the first setup.
ekincaid great - please let me know if you find any other issues...still looking for feedback - especially for IPTV and different hardware/networks.
Thanks!
What version of LE are you running?
The only dependencies are:
<import addon="xbmc.python" version="2.6.0"/>
<import addon="script.module.dateutil" version="2.4.2"/>
<import addon="script.module.xbmcswift2" version="2.4.0"/>
<import addon="script.module.requests" version="2.9.1" />
All should be in the LE or Kodi repository. Make sure you've initiated those by browsing them in the addons section. I've had some issues on fresh installs where the system doesn't know the LE and Kodi repos exist until I browse them.
Also - please test this version instead - it fixes an issue with IPTV networks.
The path to the usb drive will likely be something like:
file:///var/media/sdb1-usb-sandisk_extreme_/prime.m3u
assuming sdb1-usb-sandisk_extreme_ is the correct name of the drive (trailing underscore??)
For the downloads folder - try:
file:///downloads/prime.m3u
Hoffy You are correct - Tvheadend service needs to be disabled for backup and import - but that addon should do that automatically.
Can you please tell me what version of LE and Tvh your using for both the original device and the new installation? Also - if possible - could you provide the kodi.log?
/storage is the drive libreelec is installed on. What type of hardware is it?
just for the heck of it - try putting the file in the downloads folder and using
file:///storage/downloads/prime.m3u
Not adding to the release list yet - but here's a test update with support for:
v1.8
- add support for IPTV Networks
v1.7
- add support for Tvh username-password
v1.6
- add backup and import of tvh userdata
- add channel icon reset option
script.module.tvh2kodi-1.8-test.zip
Please let me know if you come across errors - otherwise I will update my github release. Thanks!
Got it - the backup function will sortof do this - it just isn't readable by anything but tvh. I suppose you could copy over just the channel uuids and that would create someone's channel list on your system. But it would need to have the same network name for those channels to work.
In your case - you can use the backup in the test release (1.6) and use that to import to any new systems. All the tvh settings will be recreated.
in that case - ignore my suggestions above!!!
Glad you have it going. Schedules DIrect is the best data set!! At some point I have to go back to that addon and put int he xtra details option that I built for my zap2xml addon. This allows you to put extra info into the description field, so you can see things like original airdate/new/live/etc in the Estuary skin.
I assume you have a very large channel list as you have a cable/satellite lineup?
Couple of things first - I assume you have set the username and password in the sd4tvh addon settings?
Also - to get up and running for testing - go ahead and set the number of days to download to 1 - so the amount of data is limited for now.
And make sure you have File based Channel filter enabled in the addon setting as well.
Assuming all of those things are true...check in the tvh settings (using either my tvh2kodi addon or in the tvhweb interface) to see if you can select an epg source for any a channel. Doesn't matter what channel for this test.
One final thing - do you know how to grab your kodi.log file? There may be some more information in there.
If you set your channel numbers in tvheadend - my update will back those up. If you set your channel numbers in kodi - you will need to do a kodi backup under the LibreELEC settings. While I haven't published the update yet - you can try it if you would like: script.module.tvh2kodi-1.6.zip
Please let me know if you have errors while using it. I'm waiting for some feedback before I update the release.
Display MoreIn Australia it is DVB-T no DVB-T2
Service Network Freq(MHz) Channel Polarisation
ABC ABC 634.5 MHz 43 V
SBS SBS 613.5 MHz 40 V
HSV Seven 620.5 MHz 41 V
GTV Nine 641.5 MHz 44 V
ATV Ten 648.5 MHz 45 V
MGV Commtv 627.5 MHz 42 V
I will have to dig deeper and get more info outside of the frequencies.
Have you checked the bandwidth setting? I believe Australia uses a 7Mhz bandwidth.
clarkss12 did you see my post in the kodi forum on checking the addon dependencies for Kodi 18?
The next release (likely coming later today) will include a backup/import function for the tvheadend user data. This way you can recreat your system easily after a clean LE install - or you can copy it to multiple systems!
Glad to hear you're up and running!!
My epg addon will run on windows - but it needs to run on the system that has the tvh install in it! As an FYI - you can install the tvh2kodi addon on any system as it can look at the tvheadend service over the network.
Thanks for the ideas! The next release will contain an option to backup and import the tvheadend userdata - so setting up multiple systems or recreating a system after a clean LE install will be easy!
Icon import is in the works.
Not sure how the channel list export function would be helpful. Why would you want to see someone else's channel list? Depending on your service/location those lists wouldn't be relevent. Happy to consider - but would need more info on use.
