It is not really a probleem

waiting every time at start-up.

I use the kodi device not only for IPTV

also for watching movies, or other streams. It is not dedicated for IPTV, so it is used everyday. Also other guys at forums did told me, when I had still old hardware, that the network drivers are slow. And if i would buy new hardware it would be no issue anymore. So I'm surprised actually

So i understand now it is normal that I have to set a delay, if you using iptv. Maybe there are other add-ons, or part of libreelec which needs network at start-up. So network must always be active at startup

?? different HDMI, i will try . but during playing a movie there is no problem.. So why should it the cable

The only think i could think of is . The HTPC MB j4205 has a HDMI suitable for 4K , the cable itself is for FULL HD (also TV can only support FULL HD max)

About the text at shutdown , a friend of my uses openelec , and has also a ASROCk motherboard , he has not this text

Then the complete system waits, until.

If im set a delay of 5 or 10sec is alway works, it always pop-up that channel are loaded in the beginnen .

Also my old PC of 7jr i had this problem

But you have to delay the complete system. it should be nice that the IPTV channels are loaded not just at the beginnen, but after 5sec or so

Or is it possible de speed up de netwerk connections at the start up .. ??

I made a new HTPC, with new components J4205 for asrock.

i hoped the network problems where gone

But still at boot up i see not IPTV channels loaded. So i must switch on the option "startup kodi after loading network" ( a delay of 5sec) of something

i hoped with new hardware it was not needed anymore

I used latest version of libreelec , and i use IPTV simple Client. my HTPC is wired connected to internet

I have build a new HTPC , with new components j4205 asrock

But what i see at startup , i see first bios , then flickering images , then libreelec logo for+/_ 0.5sec and then again flickering images, then the kodo logo

The flickering images is sometimes white blocks sometime blue .. Looks like the video port is switch on/off/on , or the logo from libreelec is set on the screen but not stable/long enough on the screen. At bios a switched off the motherboard logo

At shutdown of kodi . after about 3 sec i get black screen en some linux text ..at top of teh screen always, very strange

euuh yes sorry , it is a smart play list

in the menu i choose PAD CONTAINS and the it is pionted to the directory

maybe a setting is not correct . but when i klick on library update or auto update at startup(when it was selected)

it will not update when i had added a move in the directory

So i hope if somebody could help me on that , hou to update it simpel

I made some playlists , so i can make customer TABs at Aeon NOX for KIDS-MOVIE, MOVIE, HOME-MOVIE

These playlist are pointed to a special directory where these movies are storred

But when i add a new movie in that directory where a playlist is pionted to, it will not be added in the playlist at my menu , when i press library update

How to update playlist ?

the only way i discovered is , go to video>files >directory press "C" and select add to library

then kodi comes with a list or a proposal of which movie it will be. If i klick OK , then the movie will be added in my playlist

That means you are using IPTV simply client also for IPTV . With no hangups of PC ? but what is mostly see is that it is very normal that IPTV stream will hang sometimes. I have a paid IPTV stream, and tested a few stream providers .

Could it be a problem of the IPTV simply Client add-on is not stable ? At the configuration of the simply client i see a text something like not 100% tested etc. Is a TVhearded(front and read ) not more stable add-on ????

with not network connection . yes, i have problems with that. In windows i never had problems with it. But with libreelec i have that problem. Why?, i do not know. The network is connected with a wire not wifi . Maybe old hardware problem(motherboard is 7years old) ?. With this problem and normal boot libreelec the IPTV channels will not be loaded. So i enabled in kodi "wait untill network is present"

On which line could you see no netwrk connection at the log ?

OK i will upload an new kodi.log this weekend , then i will wacht IPTV again

That a IPTV stream if stopping/buffering or even is hanging . ok.. but really could it be possible that it results in a complete system hangup? . i have to reboot the system. ok i will try to make a log file at post it ,

im useing a HTPC with libreelec , and what i see somtimes is when my stream(IPTV) is encouters some problems/hanging/ stopping . it could result in a complete hangup of the HTPC

Are more people have this somtimes ? could this be a hardware problem, ?
