Please try this solution:
In /storage/.kodi/addons/ remove inputstream.adaptive, inputstream.rtmp, imagedecoder.raw, vfs.rar, pvr.hts and reboot box.
or just go back to 1.0.8 (as I did).

you are right, if you already have installed TVH Client on the box it will work. But it is not possible to install the TVH addon again, if you have uninstalled it before. You only get a message "The dependancy on kodi.binary.instance.pvr version 5.7.1 ..."
Also the inputstream addons are marked as if I could update them. If I try to update them i get the message "The dependancy on kodi.binary.instance.inputstream...". Never had this before after an update.
I installed LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.90.9-1-g3756d48-K.tar and now going to 1.0.9 I can not install pvr.hts because I get the following error:

Thanks for the solution, I can use TVH Client again. But now the client and the inputstream addons are marked as if I could update them. If I try to update TVH Client I only get a message "The dependancy on kodi.binary.instance.pvr version 5.7.1 ...". Same with InputStram Adaptive "The dependancy on kodi.binary.instance.inputstream...". Never had this before after an update.

Updated to latest build, Inputstream Adaptive and RTMP are incompatible with this Kodi version.
TVH pvr client, too. I had to switch back to 8.90.7

but I have no sound that comes out for the DTSHD, kodi is configured in passthrough

Have you tried the build from afl1 ([8.90.6] LibreELEC 9.x for S912)? Works very stable on my GT1 Ultimate.
New version in #1 with improved timing for hw decoding.
Subtitle issue still persist for dvd/bd subtitles. For text subtitles (.srt, .sub, ...) I didn't find any issue. Pls report your experiences only with kodi debug log.
My monitor is able only 4k 30fps. Pls, report playback stability for output 4K on monitors or TVs capable 4k fps>30.

this build works better. The only finding so far is, after direct switch fromTVH HD Live TV (hardware decoded) to HD Eurosport player (with inputstream.adaptive addon) the video freezes. After stop and replay all video was SW decoded, even the Live TV. After a reboot everything was working again. Perhaps it would be better to stop the play before a switch of the video source input. I will make further tests and come back if there are any more issues.

Hi, after the update to newest version (S912) there seems to be something wrong with the addons. Every change in one addon setting, e.g. weather addon, leads to a restart of the TVH addon.
I had to go back to the version 06-10 for now.

if I try to install this image on my Odroid C2 it does not boot. Only red LED is on and nothing else happens.
