Sadly not seeing any activity on github since February. Updating ProjectM to GBM/V4L2 must be a total PITA, I expect, and wondering if it will ever catch up to the latest versions of LE?

Greetings chewitt. I've been lurking on this thread and watching the available add-ons for Nexus and projectM is still a no-show. I see your involvement at github, but no activity since late February. Would you please provide a status update?

In order to try the fix how would I remove the "blacklist" used from this command?

In your BIOS, disable "HD-Audio DSP" as it's not required (won't be used by LibreELEC) and is in fact the reason why the audio is misconfigured in the kernel (which then has to be fixed by blacklisting the unwanted DSP driver that the BIOS option has enabled).

Creating the various sub-folders and then moving the relevant presets should resolve the issue.

An alternative is to download a ZIP archive of ProjectM ( GitHub - projectM-visualizer/projectm: projectM - cross-platform music visualization. Open-source and Milkdrop-compatible ) and then replace the existing "/storage/.kodi/addons/visualization.projectm/resources/projectM/presets" with the new presets folder structure. Note that the individual files within each presets sub-folder will need to be chmod 644 ( "-rw-r--r--" ).

The first link above does not work (I think it may be projectm/presets at master · projectM-visualizer/projectm · GitHub), however I did load the presets as suggested from the zip file. This solved the problem for me.

If the LE team is monitoring this thread please pass this on to the right persons managing visualization addons.

This past week an updated ProjectM (Ver 2.3.2?) pushed through the LibreElec repository and, while the programs boots, it is stuck in its vibrating screenshot mode indicating it is not loading presets. I see that a slew of new preset folders have been added, and attempts to use them also fail.

The repository does not seem to have a roll-back version and I tried installing an old version 2.

Any others also having troubles? I've opened an issue on the GitHub as well.

Received an update for Waveform via LE Repository and it's back, even with some settings!

Would someone please explain to me why visualizations such as Waveform are on the LE repository and not functional? I even got an auto-update last week, anticipating a long-awaited fix. Still not working.

Darkyputz, it's projectM, and I have the same issue even on different skins. I've seen it reported by several others too. I'm using a older model chromebox and figure it's a resource issue.

Thank you Klojum. I deleted my Thumbnails folder and it freed up enough space for a Restore (Phew!).

I'd tried doing backups and restores to my NAS awhile back without success. I'll try a thumb drive next time...

Greetings. My 5.5 GB .tar fails to run due to the error message "There is not enough free storage to continue". I found a previous thread, linked below, where the recommendation was to log into LibreELEC via SSH and run; dh -h | pastebinit then paste the url. The OP never followed up. I have perfromed the task and the url is:
