Configuring OpenElec/LibreElec with device-tree-overlays – HiFiBerry
thanks chewitt - yep it is prevented in fact - it just says something like "already initialized - resizing not supported"
i had to do a clean install of 8.1.1 and reconfigure everything - i'm a bit disappointed but whatever. i'm even more disappointed now that my hifiberry, which was running perfectly on the migration from openelec to 7.0.2 now seems not supported anymore?
HiFiBerry still not supported in 8.1.1?
thanks guys anyway
hi
I migrated from openelec, where hifiberry was supported, to 7.0.2 of libre. It still worked.
Now I had to do a clean install of libre 8.1.1 and HiFiBerry seems not to be supported again as passthrough device.
What's the status on this? Thanks.
thanks for the suggestions - unfortunately also not enough space to backup
is this script also available for libre?
QuoteOpenELEC resizes /storage on first boot after creating the SD. I looked for the script that does that. It's OpenELEC.tv/fs-resize at master · OpenELEC/OpenELEC.tv · GitHub The first code line checks for /storage/.please_resize_me file.
So... to resize storage to fill the SD you need to:
from
sd card - Resize file system on OpenELEC - Raspberry Pi Stack Exchange
did you upgrade before from openelec ?
yes - could that be the problem?
libre_space, you mentioned 8: is this 8 GB of image size?
no i have a 16gb card - i meant version 8.0.2. i try to update from 7.0.2 to 8.0.2.
hi
i have a raspi2 with libreelec 7.0.2 - i had to free some space to put the 8.0.2 update file in the samba update folder. on the update screen it says not enough space to unpack the 8.0.2 gzip althoug there should be 10gb of free space. any ideas? thanks.
