Thanks for the answers. Will replace power supply and see.

My Mecool Ki Pro box is very unstable. Libreelec crashes, Android TV crashes. Can't find any info.
Amongst various issues it will now only boot when it's connected to a PC via USB-A cable. When not plugged in I get a flashing red light. When plugged in I get a solid blue light and it boots but is unstable.I've reflashed the latest available stock firmware image for this device with no change to behaviour.
Anyone have any ideas? -

Not a big deal, when it's up it runs well. Any idea why there is such an issue with rebooting? Is it the box itself (Mecool Ki Pro)?
My box won't reboot from ssh or menu. Just halts. Don't get Mecool splash screen. Power cycling doesn't even work. 30 seconds with power out is needed each time.

The only device udevadm returns is a AP5255 wireless chip. 3 separate devices, same id.
Going through the sys folder the network card is in the /sys/bus/mdio_bus/devices folder. It's stmmac-0:08. Phy_id = 0x01814400. Dmesg says
[ 0.419010@0] eth0: PHY ID 01814400 at 8 IRQ 41 (stmmac-0:08) active.
Android recognises the device the same way.

Booted into Android there. The onboard does work. Checking iperf I'm getting 800mbps so it is syncing at gigabit speeds. Mac decode gives no answers. Neither do any apps I've tried.
Can anyone point me in the direction of querying Android via terminal emulator or Linux (Libreelec) so I can find out exactly what this card is in order to find a driver for it?
Thanks.

Can anyone confirm this build works with the onboard wired gigabit ethernet card on S905D boxes? I have the Mecool Ki Pro. Might be the only S905d box out there. Everything else works perfectly, get 250mbits on iperf with the 5GHz onboard wifi so it's not a huge issue regardless. I get no link detected with wired.
Full disclosure it's a lazy question. Box is in constant use tbh haven't booted back into Android to confirm whether the onboard card actually works.

With the KII Pro getting an upgrade to the S905D is there any difference between that and the KI Pro? I can't see any except for slight difference in Bluetooth standard.

Shout out to the kszaq for these builds. They have worked like a dream on my KI Pro box. Which reminds me, I will make a donation.
2 stupid questions:
I see reference to the Nougat kernel. Apologies if it's clear to some but is it correct to say the references are to Amlogic kernels used in Librelec for these builds because there is no mainline kernel support for these chips?
I see discontinued at the top of this thread, is it in order to work on Librelec 9.0 Alpha builds? It's not clear.

General question, how reliable is Libreelec KI Pro? Not sure whether to opt for that or a Kaby Lake ITX system. Would rather the Mecool/Videologic box if it's stable. Will be using the TV tuners a lot.
