Any guesses if HomeBridge will work inside this Docker?
Anyone for implementing Tor add-on?
An add-on (dependant on the Docker add-on), which will roll out the container, would be easy to use.
Anyway, I'll post a HomeBridge+LE step-by-step as soon as my Sonoff Touch arrives.
It was relatively easy to install official Tor client (Socks5 proxy daemon) on Windows platform.
Using this proxy allowed Kodi to query some sites and indexers blocked in Russia.
I was stunned that there was no easy was to deploy Tor proxy on the LibreElec WP2 platform - no ‘apt-get’ there.
Any existing solutions out there or should I have luck with make install?
I'd love to see NFS server (any version, alongside with SMB) in master build for WP2 too.
BT drift problem seems still actual for me: is in the past now! It is solved in LibreELEC v9.0.
Actually, I still have a drift in my BT headphones on packet loss, f/w 8.2.3.
Any progress here?
My current workaround is switching to receiver (or non-connected ALSA) and back to BT using “Audio Profiles” add-on hot key (a script below)
switching BT-headphones off and on.
Which I don’t like doing every time I significantly move my head during playback.
My Wetek Play 2 has 2 Gb of RAM. And issue with TVHeadend client crashing LE8.1.2 is the same.
May I be of help somehow?
It was a pleasant surprise for me too having a Bluetooth 4.0 on board of WP2, nicely working with my JBL Everest 100 BT-headphones. Thanks to LE developers!
You'd better check AudioProfiles add-on for one-button output switching.
The increasing delay is a known issue to be fixed in upcoming LE releases..
+1 for Wetek Play 2 on v8.1.1b (and before).
The worst thing on this crash is that it also often wakes a box from sleep, which lights up my TV via libCEC. Not the thing you await during the night.
The box is reachable via ssh with "gdb" debugger process hitting 100% CPU, but not responsive via remote.
Will provide logs later.
I see OpenELEC has PulseAudio v10 on board since April.
How about updating it in LE? it possibly may fix a growing BT-delay at last..
Following Github issue I suggest you manually update Thoradia repository.
Current Thoradia Add-ons version is (should be) 8.2.9.
After manual repo refresh I've successfully reinstalled Transmission. It's now working on newest LE 8.1.0.
Got a similar issue on Sharp TV with another CEC-device.
As a temporary workaround I used to plug TV's power socket off and on to reveal the picture.
Awaiting advises too.
