Not pirate - TVHeadend recording. I was hoping for a TVHeadend setting that might make it look for the next bit. My suspicion is that its GREAT Movies screwing up the EPG.

You'll need to share "pastekodi" logs to continue.

OK. My setup is one RPi3B for Kodi (with TV & keyboard) and a second for TVHeadend running headless. How do I share the logs using SSH?

    Running on RPi3B with LE 9.2.8 & Kodi 18.9

In the UK GREAT Movies has been added onto my list of channels. Unfortunately, if I search for movies (ie use search and select just to show movies) the film is split into two parts, and when its mixed in with a load of other movies from other channels its very difficult to spot there are two halves. The other channels don't seem to do this.

I'm guessing the answer is going to be negative but I live in hope that someone can suggest a fix.

That list is very useful, and it will probably save me time later.

I'll have a look at DB Browser. I currently use sqliteman if all I need is a simple bit of sql or a quick hand edit. When it gets complex (eg accessing a database in a different format or DOS files) I move over to Delphi and use ASGSQLite3 components to access the database

Unfortunately, in my use case, I will be changing the paths. Looks like I'll have to write a bit of code. Fortunately shouldn't be to difficult.

Its actually saved in settings but it doesn't look as though its exported to the .nfo files

For me its just that some videos have audio/video sync problems and some don't. Altering AudioDelay for those that have problems fixes it (generally 125ms)

Is this stored anywhere in the .nfo file? I can't find a reference to it in the on-line help. I'm asking because I'd hate to export the database, transfer file to a new disk, reload everything and loose the adjustments I've made to audiodelay.

I've asked on the Kodi forum but no answer apart from jepsizofye translating my question to

On Kodi 18 I have been setting audio delay specific to different library items and I want to export all that information with my library so I can transfer it to another Kodi installation.

    Is this possible?

If it isn't possible I can write code to manipulate the settings table but I'd prefer not to. I've had a good hunt round the web but haven't managed to find much apart from a very similar question asked a good few years back which also received no answer.

If you probably already use a PC to clone the card, why don't use a partition tool to resize the partition on the new card?

I did think of that, and will be trying it, but I don't know if it will work and remember someone saying about clone and touching some file.

Creating /storage/.please_resize_me will result in the current partition being removed and a new one being created on the next boot.

I'm happy with that - I can copy the stuff recorded before doing it.

I've decided to upgrade the 64GD micro SD card in the RPi3 I use for TVHeadend to a 128GB card. I know I can clone from a smaller to a larger card but there's something about touching a file to tell the Pi on the next boot that it should expand to fill the space.

My questions are a) which file and b) how do you touch a file?

It made sense to me :)

Essentially it was the fact that there are loads of options throughout the system and I have tried to read wikis (not just Kodi's) with a marked lack of success.

Unless I mistook something the pdf export is one "page" at a time - so I'd have to follow the links around and manage (hopefully) to collate in meaningful order. I would not rate my chances of success particularly high.

I did a clean install from the nightly and things seem to be working. I haven't yet reinstalled TVHeadend since I only have the one tuner device and its on the RPi3 and I haven't seen the "remote communications server failed to start" message again so I'm suspecting its TVHeadend that's causing it.

Thank you mglae - I can now see it.

I just thought it would be nice for antiques such as myself to have it in a book form. I'm used to reading sequentially not jumping around so I had a quick look and found

How To Turn Wikipedia Pages Into Ebooks
If you are like me, you probably love binge-reading Wikipedia, everyone's favorite web encyclopedia. It contains a huge database of content on almost any
    www.hongkiat.com

Is the  Print/Export feature enabled somewhere?

I've just reinstalled LibreElec from the nightlies and wanted to install my slightly modified skin. I used SAMBA to copy the zip from my PC to the RPi4 userdata folder. Unfortunately, on the RPi4 I cannot find userdata. I eventually dropped the zip into the backup folder but I'd like to know how to access userdata.

ps Love the rats nest picture for forum maintenance - behind my TV looks similar.

I'm not sure what has caused it but now I can't ping the RPi4 at all. I tried plugging one of my laptops into the same powerline adaptor. Just unplugged the Pi and plugged the laptop in so using same cable, plug socket etc and it was fine.

    Rebooted the router and nothing.

I'm going to try an install of the latest nightly.

Was afraid of such an answer :-). Have to test is myself later.

I'm glad its just not myself :)

After reading this again: looks like using CAT5 cables or less for gigabit connection. At least CAT5e cables are required.

Way back I thought that was the problem. I bought a Cat6 cable - no better. BUT without the TV plugged in the connection worked at both 100MB and 1GB - no lost pings. As soon as I included the TV I started to loose pings so I've concluded that whatever the cause since everything works properly at 100MB that's what they will all do. I think I've only got 1 device (the RPi4) other than the BT adaptors that will run over 100MB anyway.
