Yes, it should work. Don't use toothpick to install, use dual boot.

WiFi Chip looks to be an SCI S9083C. I'm guessing I'm out of luck on that then.Good guess. Unless driver author decides to send me the driver - no response to my e-mail for now.

7.95.beta6 - yes.

1. Identify your WiFi chip.
2. Add a driver. You have provided absolutely no information that let me identify the problem. My guess is that you have an unsupported WiFi chip.

Apparently this is a known Kodi issue, supposedly a PR is in for mainstream. See HEREI haven't looked for the PR mentioned yet, but apparently v17 final was pushed out with this flaw as a result of a VideoPlayer rollback at the last minute, so not expecting the fix to show up overnight.
I'll add a backport to test for the next build but I'm not going to PR this to Kodi repo as I can't fully test it.
-
That's why I specified "backporting"The fix is huge in terms of modified code and I know very little about how VideoPlayer works. We should leave it to professionals, I'll ask in the PR for backport.

kszaq - I'm experiencing erratic commercial skipping on recordings from a mythtv backend. Seems to be the same issue discussed HERE.Could you look into the possibility of backporting this patch into your 8.0 builds? -> VideoPlayer: fix edl skipping by FernetMenta · Pull Request #11646 · xbmc/xbmc · GitHub
Apparently Millhouse has it working in his RPI build?
The PR is for Kodi 18, not 17. -
Use default value.

Have you unpacked before flashing? If moving from 7.0.3.3 to 7.0.3.3b it's better to simply update, there's no need to re-flash.
-
Have you tried 7.0.3.012i?
-
When you select SPDIF, AC3 and DTS will also be passed through HDMI.

Kernel config is 100% the same in my 7.0 and 8.0 builds. I suspect it may be LibreSSL issue.

happysat Both versions use the same drivers, I don't know how to fix this.

Same Problem here.... Spotify Connect don´t work with build in Hardware. Hopefully it will be fixed

It looks like there's an issue with mounting system partition. Have you tried both MXQ and HD18Q builds?

Krypton builds are now using default kernel settings for deinterlacing and all other video processing. This doesn't mean that Amlogic is fully to blame because they play with these parameters in their Android "native" video player app.
