Please remember that echo 1 > /sys/class/amhdmitx/amhdmitx0/frac_rate_policy makes non-fractional videos stutter.

vanhorzen You've been scammed, sorry. RK3066 is at least 2 generations behind S905/X, also no LE for you.
Considering it's really Android 6.0, I suspect you might have RK3229, which is not that bad, but not good either.
Rootz You can upgrade directly, remember to use a new device tree.
vanhorzen S905/X devices come with 3.14.29 kernel and they show board number in recovery. I suspect you may have a Rockchip version of MXQ. Download CPU-Z from Play Store in Android and make sure you have a S905X device.
@kszaq: I noticed WEBGrab+Plus v2.1 has been released a few weeks and it is great. If you have some time to spare to update the next LE releases with this new version of WEBGrab+Plus v2.1, that certainly will be great. Thank you for such a great work.

LE will work on S912 but you will get tearing when rendering GUI and in software-decoded videos. HW decoding works fine.
plikmuny You can use John's 8.0 builds as daily driver, addons are provided from my repo.
As for 9.0 builds - would use use pre-alpha software as a daily driver?
Android uses Amlogic CEC implementation, whereas LibreELEC includes libCEC implementation from GDPR-1. I don't think it's trivial to add it to Android - you'd need to have full Android source code as it's not only kernel part but also userspace.

zambu 1.5GHz is maximum frequency for S905. Odroid-C2 is the only device that can be (officially) overclocked.

No idea, there is no documentation for these options. If you try the out, please share your results.
Unfortunately, IR is still not working with this build. Totally unresponsive to remote commands with both a standard dtb and a lirc one.

If you don't use LIRC device tree, IR works exactly the same as in 7.x.

If you ar compiling after disabling temp sensor, you have to disable CONFIG_AMLOGIC_SPICC_MASTER as well.

Upscaling is done by hardware if HW decoding is enabled, for SW decoding S905 is not powerful enough to provide Lanczos.
You shouldn't worry about "bootloader NOT updated" - this is intended and my builds never update bootloader to not brick the box.
You do not need to rename partitions - burning image with Rufus will make sure they are properly named. And when you update from 7.0.x -> 8.0.x, updater script will rename partitions as needed.
I don't know where you got "64-bit" images from or "weekly build" - I can only support my builds posted on this forum.
For me it looks like there is an issue with initializing USB and this can be diagnosed only be analysing kernel log over serial console. You can also try booting from SD card and check if USB drives are visible after booting.
