You probably mean 8726MX. S912 is a much newer chip. I have never built anything for 8726MX. Please look at stick thread, there you'll find links to threads with builds for other Amlogic SoCs: [INDEX] LibreELEC community builds for Amlogic

Does MX2 use S912?
-
Please post dtb.img from Android firmware.
-
kszaq, I did clean installation , used (renamed) dtb file for play 2 but It won't boot. Always stuck on Libreelec bootlogo
I'm sorry, I have no WP2 to debug it. On WH everything works fine.
Update to internal nand not working
I cannot support updating from some else's builds. But it looks like the file you downloaded is corrupted. Try again.
Hi Kszaq: your latest testing build is not responsive and hangs a lot. i need to keep restarting with power cable removed and switchig it on.
you previous build was very responsive.
There was no previous testing build that I published. Everything work fine here with 8.1.0.
would it be possible to make the necessary changes to make a xiaomi bluetooth remote work out of the box?
What are "the necessary changes"? I was only able find this post: [SOLVED!] MX3 Air Mouse Remote no functioning I don't have Xiaomi remote, please first make changes that work, then ask to add them.

It's not. Wait for your device to cool down, it should be 1.5GHz again.
-
Marciano What about Krypton builds from Raybuntu? Is issue present there?
-
delz I will give you some hints so that you can answer this question on your own:
- There is no official LE 8.2, not even a beta from this branch.
- I have not released any 8.2 build for S912 - no time to test and S905 is a better target for first tests.
- danxc Took the untested code and compiled it.
Now you can decide if it's stable.
-
danxc Device trees are already available at Index of /s912/8.2/device_trees/
S912 GPU is not controlled by mpgpu interface, it uses devfreq.
-
Moonlight users: please try updating to 8.2.106c. Unfortunately all I can do is bump packages, no way to test here.
-
I added instructions what to do when you forget to use a new device tree during update and device doesn't boot.
-
Guys, please move 8.2 related discussion to 8.2 thread. For those who forgot to add device tree when updating internal installation I posted a solution: [Testing] LibreELEC 8.2 for S905/S905X
-
Why does it say 8.2-8.1.0? It's a bit confusing. (I know that LibreElec is ver 8.1 and your version is 8.2 but it's confusing since they are so close to each other)
LibreELEC 8.2 branch, 8.1.0 beta.

I have installed it in Internal Memory. Is there any way to copy new dtb.img directly without going back to backup?
- Boot this build from SD card or USB with correct device tree.
- Login over SSH and execute dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/dtb bs=256k count=1 then dd if=/flash/dtb.img of=/dev/dtb bs=256k
- Power off, remove SD/USB, boot from internal.

This is more related to this thread Moonlight Addon Amlogic but when i install the addon with this build i get this
Please try an updated version 8.2.106a.
-
- 3D and HDR are not supported, i.e. they might work but I don't provide support.
This also applies to anything other than 8-bit output. I have no equipment capable of anything more than 1920x1080 8-bit.

I have a wetek play to running raybuntu's krypton 64bit kernel 32bit libs.
How do i upgrade to your build on my WP2?
I tried to upgrade but i get compatibility error- touch /storage/.update/.nocompat
- Download update image to Update directory.
- Place device WP2 device tree in Update directory.
- Reboot
-
Hans Gruber I think the error is related to LE 8.2 Samba bump. I will seek for advice on this from LE devs.
-
andy5macht No, it's 32-bit userspace.
