Unfortunately in 8.0.2e LIRC is broken due to broken drivers in media_build package. It should work in 8.1.x builds but I have to amend device trees for it.

Raybuntu's build doesn't include a patch that enables passthrough for live TV. You can get multichannel audio if you disable passthrough - that way DD 5.1 is decoded to multichannel PCM.

The difference is purely cosmetic and you can use either. If you want to change a device tree, there is no need for a clean install or wiping data.

I'm afraid you won't get decent channel switching times in Krypton. The best so far is @afl1's build but I don't want to include his patches as they look too hacky for me. On the other hand, Leia is reported to be excellent in channel switching.

Put tar/img.gz and device tree in update folder.

I only removed kernel log spam by request. Please note that Hyperion does not work in Raybuntu's Krypton build, only in Leia - at least that's what Marciano reported.

I suspect that the issue with WP2 is DVB driver: closed source, not compatible with Nougat kernel (yet). It's the only device with the issue.

zbigzbig20 or Marciano are you able provide log from serial console on WP2?
