darioml There are plans to upstream S905/912 support but this requires some work to make it less hacky, maintainable etc.

I have an idea how to achieve this but you have to wait 1 week until I get a new laptop (it's on its way).

One more question: does SD card reader work when you boot LE from USB?

R91g Just to let you know, some time ago I tested HQ scalers and S905 wasn't able to process even a SD video.

Please provide a device tree from Minix Android firmware, I will try to prepare some test device trees for you.

but in the video option I don't see any option about it. My resolution is 1080p and I played a SD video and 720p video.

S905 is not powerful enough to run high quality scalers and they are not available. Keep in mind that if they were, they would be available only for SW decoding, there is no way to 'insert' them for HW decoding.

clams Can you create a separate thread with full logs and describing your issue with NHL addon? It seems to be common for Amlogic devices and it would be much easier if someone created a thread with logs to look into it. Instructions on log collection are in the sticky post.

You can switch to AV output using echo 576cvbs > /sys/class/display/mode command. Unfortunately I don't know Armbian so I can't tell you whether anything more is needed.

Emilot Unfortunately HDR to SDR conversion requires Amlogic Video Enhancement Engine (amvecm) that S905 doesn't have.

It looks like this board doesn't have any built-in storage for bootloader so you need to have one on SD card. Try using Odroid-C2 image.

Mod request: please move this thread to Amlogic.
