What about 9083xu? Should I test it with this build or it won't work at all?
We have no module for 9083xu, no source code etc.

Forage Actually when you enable suspend, the board goes into low-power mode, so it's not exactly "fake". Additionally, in my next build power consumption will be lower in suspend as I pulled some patches from Khadas repo.
There is no source available for Vitmod driver and it can't be ported over because it's built into kernel.
mmpp Can you please post dmesg collected a moment after colours change?
Sorry, but there is no support for any built-in tuner for S805 that I can add to my builds.
One more test build to test, please set output_rgb parameter to 1 and check the colours:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-devel-20171213220136-r26471-gc91652d.tar
in case alex continues his work.
He did not build this module, he got it via manufacturer.
Thank you for testing. The module is provided as-is and nothing can be changed in the way it works due to no source code.
PSA: Due to issues with auto-update making my Odroid-C2 build not bootable, autoupdate will not work for all S905 devices using 8.2.1.1. You will have to update to 8.2.1.2 manually when it's released. This will be resolved for future builds. Unfortunately this is something I cannot solve server-side.
I was afraid of this... The is because DVI mode is forced and there is no sound because of it.
Fredouye and everyone else: please try this build:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-devel-20171213185420-r26471-gc91652d.tar
This one tries to stick to DVI mode if you set output_rgb to "1".
Please try this build, this is the last patch I could find regarding eMMC issues:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-devel-20171213185420-r26471-gc91652d.tar
Thanks to alex we got a pre-built module with 9082xs driver. Here is a build to test:
LibreELEC-S905.arm-8.2-9082xs_test.tar
Please note:
I use the same SD card in many different devices regularly to test new builds. Like you said, only device tree needs to be changed (I don't use IR remote, no need to change remote.conf).
You don't have to do anything, it's set for all S912 devices.
renzz Thank you. This is a step forward to fix RGB mode for everyone.
afl1 If you change the label in update script it should change it accordingly:
