Screen tearing is still there for me.
Yeah for me too..
Will there be a fix for this in the next update??
Or is this issue not on the priority list cause it's very annoying.

After updating my Pi4 and from the little I saw I don't notice any issues improvement already reported in the fórum.
I hope that in the near future Raspberry Pi will make the necessary leap for the kernel upgrade.
Anyway thanks...
so no more screen tearing in menu’s on rpi4?
The amlg12 image runs on N2. In the LE settings menu, there is an item to create a full eMMC backup before installation and an item to install LE in eMMC. For quick and easy testing of systems from different media (including USB flash drives), I recommend switching to SPIboot. The details there is in this topic previously.
thanks!
What image to choose for odroid N2 and also possible install to emmc card?
I’ve still got screen tearing in the menu’s.
Hope this will be fixed in the next update.
I was thinking about it, do you have any experience with it? Says on their site intel has bugs but lots have happened in mesa lately might give it a shot. I suppose the nuc8 should handle it power wise, at least some games.
EDIT: Doh, it uses Wine.... Doable, but I think it could be a lot of work, also I'm not convinced how well it will run.
Yeah it’s windows only.
If vulkan get’s it’s maturity then linux get support too but that’s gonna take a while.
I was hoping maybe it’s possible with wine.
On my windows machine NUC7i5BNH CEMU Is running fine.
But indeed with intel gpu’s there are some bugs here and there.
For some games mario kart 8,super mario maker and super mario 3D world the last working build is 1.15.2d. Anything above cemu will crash.
But in the patreonbuild 16.0 WIP12 those games are running better on vulkan and the crashes are gone if changing backend.
Build RR-20190926-f1dae10 | uploaded for Generic | Index of /nightly/
- updated to latest LE 9.80
- updated Generic Linux kernel to 5.3.1
- updated mesa to 19.2.0
- updated Qt5 to release 5.12.5 / fixed libmali based projects
- updated PPSSPP to v1.9.0
- added RPCS3 v0.0.7 Alpha - delete your es_systems.cfg & drop PS3 stuff in the matching rom folder.
- reverted Mupen64plus-nx to known good commit for libmali based projects
- updated several libretro-cores
- updated citra & dolphin
Beside that read this RPCS3 - Quickstart and watch that
while you keep your expectations low. You'll need a decent machine for RPCS3 & probably a dedicated AMD or Nvidia GPU for good results.External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. A intel nuc8i7 hvk will do the job.
I was thinking about a nuc8i7beh with an egpu via thunderbolt.
The nuc8i7beh cpu is clocked at 4,5ghz while the hvk is clocked at 4.1 ghz
I have the previous version of the nuc.
NUC7i5BNH and i’ve got cemu running in 1080p. All the mario games are running fine in 1080p. I must say that i’m running windows.
So i was a little surprised that what this nuc is capable of.
Cause most of my PCSX2 games can’t run in 1080p in LE and afaik CEMU and PCSX2 bit the same emu’s.
I was told if you can’t run PCSX2 properly you can’t run CEMU either properly.
I haven’t tried dolphin in windows but i will do that later this week.
But i’ve got dolphin running 1080p in 5schatten build (simular) with your build.
At the moment i’m saving some money for a NUC8i7HVK canyon HADES so can’t wait to run run your build for RPCS3😃
Check it out, the latest skylake build running NBA Jam: Fire Edition in 1080p on RPCS3. The music is streamed over bluetooth and played through Pulseaudio

can you play rpcs3 on your nuc8i3beh?
New skylake build
- Native Playstation 3 emulation with RPCS3 both Vulkan and GL (create symlinks in /storage/roms/ps3 to EBOOT.BIN inside your game folders for ES to pick them up) compiled against Qt 5.13.1
- 5.3.0-rc8 kernel
- LLVM 9.0.0-rc4
- Mesa 19.3-git (OpenGL 4.6 compliance for Intel)
- Added fix to make Xorg work with Intel CPUs with AMD RX Vega discrete GPU like the Hades Canyon NUC8
- Updated iwlwifi-firmware
- Added genesis-plus-gx
- Set Intel P-state governor to performance when launching games
- The usual core updates
Dolphin libretro is smooth as butter in 1920x1080 on the NUC8's, having a blast with this again
Will clean my latest work up and commit some changes soon, consider the skylake build experimental. It doesn't have nvidia drivers included either.
Is anyone using Xenia? Wondering if it's worth it to include it yet.
Did you also try the standalone version on dolphin on your nuc8i3?
You get the same speed?
5schatten is there any chance to play cemu (wiiu) emulator via wine in your builds?
It’s the only emulator i’m missing.
I know cemu is windows only but on linux you can play cemu via wine.
5schatten did a clean install with build LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.80-RR-20190902-c5f1fc8.img.gz and now the audio options are greyed out.
There is only buetooth audio.
Can you fix this please cause the builds with kodi 18.3 are gone i can't downgrade anymore
thanks!
EDIT: after restoring backup all good now.
