Kodi 19.1 (Libreelec) on Rpi4 doesn't stop scraping. Searching for new content on startup is disabled, I have rebooted. No dice, it always scrapes (alternating between 36, 54 and 0 percent), making any library editing impossible.
Tips? Thanks.

None of this exists on my Raspberry Pi 3.
Same here. I find it pretty baffling that the UI performance isn't ANY higher than in my old Pi2.

It's sort of running now after fourth attempt doing the exact same thing. Now I'm having issues with LONG, easily 30s stalling when moving between SMB folders. None such issue with LE9 on my old RPi2.

No, it doesn't. 😁
huh, it actually does work with my Samsung NU8000 remote CEC on the microHDMI port near charging port. It didn't a year ago when I first tried it glad they fixed this, it would make it useless for me.

Tearing in any screen mode, but it doesn't even boot..? That's a bit weird.
No, as I clearly stated, 10 beta didn't boot and 9.2.7 had tearing. The 10b4 eventually booted on third try (new Pi, new card, all official kit). It's buggy but it sort of works now. I'm using Kodi since the XBMC days on Pi 1, have had a 1, 2, 3 and 4 but this (4) my worst experience by far.
New issue: screen goes black after rebooting, right after LE logo, and doesn't come up again. I need to physically reset the device for it to work again. Logs are here and here.
Thanks.

Jesus christ it still doesn't work, two years in?

I've got a new RPi4 to replace my old RPi2 and i'm sad to see the state LE's in on it. I've tried both 9.2.7 and beta 3 of LE10. LE10 doesn't even boot, screen stays black after the "partition expanding" text. 9.2.7 has so much tearing in any screen mode it's actually hard to use it, sometimes the playback gets stuck in such a way that when I return it through the "fullscreen" button in UI, the screen just freezes.
Also, remote of my Samsung NU8000 TV doesn't work in LE10.
Any tips? Both of these are clean installs on freshly formatted cards. I don't think this is normal, I have none such issues on the Pi2. Thanks.

I have plain HA running inside Docker on Libreelec but I've found out that many integrations and subsystems need apt-get and the whole linux stack to be able to install and run stuff, so it seems a bit half-assed to me. I'm looking into running whole raspbian inside Docker and getting stuff done this way but it's either too advanced for me or outright impossible.

Samsung, right? My 2018 model also doesn't work with CEC (pi3 did, same cables, same TV).

I have them all deleted via ssh. They're created by Sonarr, even when I have explicitly disabled their creation. But I doubt that's the culprit, that's been going on for some time and the insane slowdown is isolated to LibreELEC.

Anyone? Subtitle selection window takes 70 secs to appear, which is... Suboptimal.

The GUI is by default set to 10fps during video play AFAIK. You can adjust the setting within the Kodi GUI. 1-2 fps is like a slideshow, which is not the usual user experience .So please get us a kodi.log to begin with, the usual crystal ball was already sold out for the upcoming weekend.
Thanks for the reply. Here's the log:
I've tried to capture a video of the GUI but on two occassions, the whole thing froze while accessing TV shows lists and didn't unfreeze even after a couple of minutes. But I can still SSH into the machine = it's probably not the HW.
Log after this freeze: HjID
Thanks!

I had a fully working OpeneELEC setup on my Rpi2. Manually upgrading to LE 7.0.2 borked my library (files not found even when NAS shares were properly mounted and unchanged).
After a clean install, GUI is like 1-2 FPS while playback (was smooth on OE), and the system hangs and completely freezes very often. I'm using XF1080 skin, but the issue is the same with Confluence. No overclocking. It's probably not hardware related as I can SSH into the machine and work there.
Any idea what may be wrong?
