Have a weird issue since kodi 16.1/libreelec 7.0.0-002.
Audio files, mostly flac played in library is stuttering, however same files played direct from folder do not stutter.
HD audio in movies/series do not stuter.
Changing the audio settings from default to any other does not change this behavior, better or worse.
My setup is a asrock beebox n3150 connected to a yamaha rx-671 receiver (HDMI).
I do not notice that signal is broken or stuttering at receiver level.
Any cliues?

And could you please tell us (just for interest) where you have read that info, that HD audio support is being dropped?

Found it. But under linux based systems it should work fine, normally.

Found it as well, had to with the receiver preset to movie standard (yamaha rx-671).
Didn't notice that before.
Changing it to surround decode did the trick.

I know that Intel removed this support from its latest Windows drivers for this GPU, is Linux next?

i'm running it from the harddrive.

All,

First of all, the update went flawless, everything is looking and working as expected.
Except for system restart, it makes me come out of my lazy chair and manually switch off and on once more.
it boots normal after a system shutdown.
I'm running the generic image on a asrock beebox n3150.
