Hello and goodbye as this release should be my final one since these amlogic boxes cant be supported anymore due to lack of upstream support.
Here is LE9 with Kodi Leia 18.6 for S82 and MXIII-PLUS
Enjoy
Thank you! Finally the power off is working!

Please someome to help me. How can I do the 18.5 version of Libreelec (mxiii plus version) to dual boot in Android (the power selection is missing) and why I can't turn of my device (mxiii-g 2GB) ?
Update : The selection for dual boot that is missing is the "Reboot to NAND". I notice that in a few skins there is the possibility to add this selection in power menu. So I think that an "easy" way to add the missing section is to change a file in the skin's files. I there someone with experience to help me to do this ?

to be able to shutdown you need these
Thanks for the reply. How can I install these files ?

That is exactly why i have placed the soc generation next to the release. Choose the image you try to flash accordingly to what SOC you own.
For S812 boxes image is the one named
LibreELEC-MXIII_Plus.arm-LE9-Kodi_18.5.img.gz
Hello Demetris and thank you for the new file of Kodi 18.5. I run it to my mxiii-g but I have the same problems. When i turn it off is rebooting and its turning on again, and in power menu there is no option for rebooting (switch) to Android

[ROM][Pie]Resurrection Remix v7.0.2 [TB8703F… | Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet
[ROM][9.0][TB8703F/X/R/N] Pixel Experience [… | Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet
I will release new images very soon
Sorry for the delay
Hi Demetris ! We also are waiting the Kodi 18.2 version of Libreelec for S812

In step 7 you said you select aml_autoscript.zip from the SD card, but there's no such file. My understanding is that any dummy .zip file will work, because it's only there to trick the box into rebooting into recovery mode. When I do this, it reboots into recovery mode and I get a message that says "Filesystem corruption has been detected!" and the that's it. Sorry, but this method does not work for my MXIII 1G/8G or 2G/8G boxes
exactly same issue here om mxiii 1g/8g older version works fine
Sorry this is the file.
Is missing from the img file

gthebest could you please explain to other people a little step by step how you managed to boot the new release so i dont have to revert my devices bootloaders i custom builded from source , that would be very helpful to all and save me a lot of lost time.
Ok I will try to explain
1.Well first of all I make a format to my SD card with the SD formatter to my pc
2. Then with the Win32DiscImager I install the ".img" file to the SD card
3. I power on my TV box without put in the SD card
4. The TV box will open to Android
5. Then I put in the SD card to my TV box
6. I open the "update&backup "app. In local update we check the select button
7. After a while the files appears in the screen. We select the "aml_autoscript.zip" from the SD card and then select to update.
8. The TV box will restart and then it will install the Libreelec firmware
I notice again than everything is working fine except the power off selection not working (the TV box is restarting) and there is no "Boot to Android" selection in power menu!

I notice some seriously issues in my TV box (MXiii-g s812 2 GB Ram) with the new Leia update. When I turn off the device from power menu the device restarting. Also is missing the "reboot to Android" selection from the power menu. Demetris please fix it in the next update.

Firstly, thanks for everything Demetis...
I have a Mx III 4k (2 gb), f/w s82 LE 8.2.3.
When I update LE 9.0 (nocompat and f/w -> update folder than restart)
LE can't start and gave an error code "Starting debugging shell for boot step: mount_flash…type exit to quit ###"
Hello. Try reboot to Android and update with the "aml_autoscript.zip" file from sd card. Then reboot and its ok

Wow Demetris a new version with LE9 would be really nice! It is not working for me yet.
I have a MXIII 1G with 2GB (MXIII 4k on top). The only way I can run LibreELEC is to install this OPENELEC version and use the update function with the images Demetris provided (running from SD or USB seems impossible for my device). I have been running LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.2.2-S82.tar for over a year now and just updated to LibreELEC-S8X2.arm-8.2.3-S82.tar. Works like a charm.
I would love to update to LE9, but when I put S802.S82.arm-devel-20160720230550-r23239-g5a1c208.tar in the update folder and reboot, nothing happens. Together with the nocompat zip it runs the update but after the installation finishes and the box reboots it crashes and shows
Hello. Try reboot to Android and update with the "aml_autoscript.zip" file from sd card. Then reboot and its ok

The tar file of 9.0.0 for mxiii-plus, the windows say that is virus. Can you upload it again Demetris ?
-
I just install the mxiii plus version of 9.0.0 ! Everything seems fine except that in power menu is missing the reboot in Android
-
I will try to release images for only for the two devices i own
- MXIII-PLUS/MXIII-G/PROBOX2-EX-PLUS
- S82/S82B/S82H/MXIII/S89/S89H
and that's it
I'll be waiting for MXIII-Plus (MXIII-G/S812) the 9.0.0 version !

Hello. I have install the s812 17.6_20180122 mxiii plus to my mxiii-g TV box and I notice that when I select power off from power menu the tv box seems to closing but after a while it's opens again. I think there is issue with the CEC operation
-
Hello. I just install the Leia libreelec to my mxiii-g TV box. The only thing that is not working is my tv remote control not working (cooperates) with the tv box anymore. It was working before through the Anynet /HDMI -CEC operation. Is this operation is missing ? Is this a bug ?
-
No we are not, I just posted a version that is working perfectly on my s802.
Which version? Where is it ? But I want for s812. I have a mxiii-g 2GB s812
