I answer myself. Turning off hardware acceleration was the key to start capture video in the correct way.
tks for the tip
Maybe is not the correct forum to ask this question, but happy to get it working in my old device
i'm not using hyperion but like you say , the most important is to get it working on your old device.

had to mention that i use a x8-h..

I experienced the same on my X8-H Plus (did not test with my X8): The network interfaces are switched off after each restart of the box. I had to enable them in the LibreElec settings. Because of this, I reverted to the final version dated 020219.
Thank you for your support.
In the LE Menu - Wired Networks, I wouldnt know where in Kodi one could control Lan or Wan. Every boot or shutdown > LE program settings the Wired Networks switch is switched off when box is turned back on. So I can turn it ON, I get LAN and the next reboot it toggles it to OFF again. Once turned back on(box) I have to use the slider to turn Wired Networks back on.
btw. was my method of updating the proper way ? seems everything else started up without error's and after turning the Wired Networks switch back on all worked well.
well... i don't have this issue.
my setup :
- wifi network disabled
- wired network enabled
- dhcp enabled
- kodi has to wait that network is available before starting (30sec max)
i can reboot , shutdown/start. the wired network switch is still "on"

Has the activation been done in the meantime? Which image can I use for my Minix Neo U1 player? Many Thanks.
still have to do a last U1 image, was busy with a custom linux.

Hmm, I can't boot into LE. On booting have message "could not mount LABEL=STORAGE".
did you try another SD card?
how old is your firmware?
some peoples have successfully installed LE with a new SD card or a reflash of the box.
it's not 100% success proof but it may help.

It updated fine, but I noticed that Network switch = off, so turned it back on but after shutdown or reboot it toggles it back off!
sorry but what do you mean by "Network switch = off" ? A setting in Kodi ?

Great work you do datrh, I remeber you from the old Minix Forum but never messed with LibreELEC.
Minix X8 Plus working great 100%. True shutdown, removal of powerplug not needed as box button starts it right back up!
Not the X8h-Plus, need the yank the power plug on that one to power it back up. But all works well.
Minix U1 was a peace a cake, USB stick or SD-card both work very fast. And you know USB stick's can be slow and this one is a cheap one.
Just wanna thank you for all your work and time you put into this very nice project.
Oh and btw. all 3 boxes have Finless Lollipop ROM's on them so that worked fine!
Tks for your comment.

So to restart it I need to unplug the cable, put it back and then put it on from the start button on the box.
Is there an easy solution to handle off and on of the box, even putting it only in stand by?
old story but to resume : the box bootloader has to be replaced and it's a risk i will not take.
sort of stand by : it's possible , it's was already included but later removed because i got complaint about nic/wifi not waking up.

#1 images re-uploaded
Fix : installtointernal "execute" rights

Hi. I just finished downloading and installing your X8-H+ version of LibreElec (Kodi 18.1 Git 18.1-Leia)
All went well, no issues. Booted off the SD card into LibreElec and got Kodi setup.
I wanted to install LibreElec internally to my X8-H+. Connected via SSH. Logged in as "root" and gave the password, but when I tried "installtointernal" I get the message "Permission denied".
Any ideas what the problem is or how to get arround it.
my bad, i will repost the image today.

Hi guys.
Currently running 8.2.1.1 on a Mini Neo U1 and Kodi 17.6 all. installed on the internal memory.
The links on the first posts, are good for me (as i am s905 also) or shall i wait for 'official)' announcement that u1 is fully compatible?
thanks
As you are a U1 (s905) user,i would wait for the official LE with a recent Linux Kernel.
i will not build any new image for the U1.
