Vpeter, something off topic that maybe will help us. I tried the very early beta posted in solid run forum. I think the kernel is the same here, but it booted with no problem and no issue. I'm talking about kodi 17...so maybe if no solution will be found,it will be better to focus on next kodi release? Just a thought...

i deleted my prev post by mistake.
tested your image vpeter. same issue. on boot, the screen "dance" until i go to
settings and change the resolution to 1280X720 or 1980X1080.
i tried each resolution and booted the cubox. each time it booted well.

do you need some other logs or xmls? tell me what you need and i'll upload it here.

To resolve issue with no signal some logs are required from ssh console

    Code
    dmesg | pastebinit
    pastebinit /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log

If ssh not enabled yet it must be enabled with uEnv.txt file on first partition.
It is visible on Windows or mounted on Linux.
    Current line

    Code
    mmcargs=setenv bootargs 'boot=/dev/mmcblk0p1 disk=/dev/mmcblk0p2 quiet video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@60,if=RGB24,bpp=32 dmfc=3 consoleblank=0'

    add ssh to it

    Code
    mmcargs=setenv bootargs 'ssh boot=/dev/mmcblk0p1 disk=/dev/mmcblk0p2 quiet video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi,1920x1080M@60,if=RGB24,bpp=32 dmfc=3 consoleblank=0'

    After reboot ssh should work.

this is my first time trying it...

    kodi log

    hope it helps

ok, didn't tested yet the vpeter image.
but i notice that lately, everytime i reboot my cubox, i have to do it 2-3 times until it's boot fine.
here is the crash log founded in the temp directoty.

i would like to help, but don't now hot to do it.
    short explansion?

how do you do that if you have no signal? I can't see anything on the screen... or do you suggest do it before update?

Yes, before update it's a good idea.
Usualy i got this problem after the first boot. Also it's better to switch to 1980X1080 resolution in the beginning.

    edit:
if you don't get screen, try to unplug and plug it again.
i'll upload lately my guisettings.xml. maybe it'll help you or another user.

hi, had same issue, no matter how i install it.
    there is only one solution.
when setup first boot, or upgrading, you must go to system, then video and untick
the option there named "Update available resolutions on display device changes". just turn it off.
if you don't see it maybe you should move to expert mode.

vpeter, is it possible to turn it off by default? i know it is kodi + kernel issue, and not LE issue.
many issues will be resolved by this step.

i had the same issue. wich TV do you have? my plasma TV it's a little old so
it's not full HD. ony 1280x720 resolution expected(samsung plasma). so i tried some times to plug
and unplug the cubox until i could have a screen. after i got screen went to system and changed
the resolution rapidly as i could. you have to be aware that if you choose 1280x720 you will have to
unselect the option in video settings "to resolve resolution each boot", otherwise you will get
a black screen with no posiblity to see something anymore.
the easy solution is to choose from resolution 1980x1080. in this case my plasma do a downgrade
and LE with kodi + kernel 4.4 boots always.
    hope i could help you.

(edit, i use a cubox pro)

And there will not be any. The only difference with official build and mine is different CEC library which in some cases works better (already confirmed). Nothing more.

I know. Said it for people not expecting miracles. I can confirm that everything that worked before, works also now.

I upload LibreELEC-imx6.arm-6.95.2-new-libcec version with newer libcec which should/could fix some issues.

Hi, just upgraded from le latest beta. I don't have any cec equipment. Watched a tv chapter, and quality was very good. No problems found. watch sd channel via iptv, no inprovment found, but works very well. No problem yet in my side. Thx for your efforts.

i don't know where to post it. hope this is the right palce.

does the beta in download page is the same posted in solid-run forums?

tested it yesterday. works very very good :).
there was one problem that exists in all beta i tested(include xbian, OE and LE).
i own an old samsung plasma TV. very happy with it. my TV is not full HD support, so i have to use 1280X720 resolution.
when i choose it, everything looks grate. but after rebooting i have no screen(got black screen like nothing is connected to my TV).
my cubox boots well, so manually somewhere in the guisettings.xml i changed manually the reslution to 1980X1080(or something else, don't remember).
after that i reboot again, and i got a picture. after that changed the reolution back to 1280X720, reboot and since this time every reboot i do got picture.
later i'll post here my guisettings.xml file so you can examine it.

another problem is that after i calibrate my kodi with my TV under video options, the settings are not saved.
i have to do the same after each reboot or after i turn on my TV.

thx for your efforts! very much appreciated.

btw, i did a clean install.
