Installed 8.1.9 on my old Mk808b+ and everything is working ok!
but all my actions seem a bit slower than 188.8.131.52d.
is that just my config (skin etc.) or is 8 more demanding over all?
I flashed back to Android put aml_autoscript and libreelec....update.zip on SD card (without factory_update_param.aml), launched Backup&Upgrade app in android selected the libreelec.zip and proceeded with the upgrade. Box rebooted and started flashing and once complete it booted LE successfully.
Thanks for that info JonSnow!
I tried to install on Mk808b Pro but there is something wrong with the reset-button:
The device won't start as long as I keep the reset button pressed and when I release the button it doesn't enter recovery.
I tried everything I could think of but nothing worked until I tried the "Backup&Upgrade" tip! great stuff!
so far LE runs smooth, I'll report later after some testing...
I just tested 184.108.40.206: everything works perfect and it does feel faster.
And of course the PowerButton of my remote suddenly works after beeing ignored for 1.5years
thanks kszaq, if everyone would be so helpfull the world would be a better place!
I missed the part when you pointed out that this is a USB remote... yes, I can add that keycode to Kodi for the next release.
After 1,5years I can finally use the powerbutton!
But now I have to think what to do with it..
I don't think I can wake the stick up once it turned off?
Anyways, thanks so much kszaq!
You should modify your remote.conf to make the power button work - look for "142" in the last column and change it to "116".
I tried with remote.conf but didn't work...
Isn't remote.conf just for IR-codes?
my "remote" is a wireless keyboard/mouse
I'm using a cheap wireless remote (like this)
everything works ok, except the power button is not recognized:
kszaq is it possible to add this key in LE?
Or is it only possible in kodi master?
as far as I can tell keycode translations are handled in "LinuxInputDevices.cpp"
