If you currently have OpenELEC installed download the .tar file
Yes for the "Generic AMD/Intel/nVidia" -
I don't see why you couldn't.
-
What i did was;
-Forked Estuary skin repo
-Added minimal mods and fixes(skin colors, main menu items and categories customization, fullscreen music visualization...)
-Maintain it myself and adding latest(good) commits
-Install it as an addon
Like this you can do what you want and it will survive LibreELEC updatesBTW my power menu is customized like so;
-Power off system
-Reboot
-Inhibit idle shutdown(if activated)EDIT: removed links
-
Did you make a backup before updating, if so install fresh and restore.
-
Did you enable "show hidden files and folders" in both machine?
You can copy the file to any folder and then use File manager In OpenELEC to move it to the .update folder after you enable "show hidden files and folders".
Why Chromium browser instead of File explorer? -
Did you enable "Unknown sources" in System settings->Add-ons->Unknown sources?
And be careful of what you install!EDIT
I just saw the addon you're trying to install on Github you might want to get it from there before installing a repository that is not so trustworthy. -

In kodi system settings > input there are only three options.Peripherals
Enable mouse and touch screen support which is on and,Reset above settings to default. There's no configuration setting for PS3 controller.
If I go to system> libreelec> services I enabled Bluetooth. Then I go to Bluetooth folder and it paired my PS3 controller but there's no feedback from controller. Still controlling kodi from my keyboard.
In Input settings you should see "Configure attached controllers" click on that and remap your controller buttons
-
Did you change your skin back to the default one before the upgrade?
It might hang because the urls of "repo.aeon.nox.silvo" are incorrect. -
Maybe "create_installstick.exe" was formatting and creating the GPT in a different way than the rest of the installer available now.
-
I think the OpenElec i386 distro does use syslinux 6.0.3 (?)OpenELEC "i386" v5.0.8 does indeed use syslinux 6.0.3.

I went to system>bluetooth> enable bluetooth and it reads my controller but it doesn't work with or without wire. What do you mean doesn't work?
The controller can't "pair/connect" or it does pair but you have no key feedback?
Did you set up your controller in System settings->Input? -
Did you noticed if any other changes you made to the settings where also not saved after a system reboot, or is it just the Bluetooth option?
-
Can you make a backup and update to 7.95.2 to see if the problem persist?
-
Hi Sir, thanks for the suggestion however im not having a problem connecting my bluetooth gamepad automatically. Instead, im having problem with the bluetooth on the laptop not switching on upon boot. I need to press fn+f3 to turn on bluetooth on the laptop.Strange, tested now with my HTPC and a Acer laptop and when enabling Bluetooth in LibreELEC settings it does stay enabled after a system reboot.
Bios updated to 1.20?
What version of LibreELEC are you running? -
And as far as the log is where you go out? The menu option is kodi log file. And where these logs are they?
Here is the wiki with different ways to provide a .log -
In LibreELEC settings->Bluetooth, when you select your device(gamepad) did you try "Trust and Connect" ?
If you don't see that option try clicking on your device select "Delete" it will refresh and show your device again then try "Trust and Connect". -
HelloGeforce 1050 in support Libreelec 8.0?
It is supported in the Beta builds already, try them.
GTX 1050 has support in Linux since driver version 375.10 and LibreELEC(8.0) has included driver version 375.26 for a while now.
