You said "HDMI works well: both graphics and sound." and then you point to the analog audio output jacks from the motherboard.
If you have an hdmi connection, why aren't you using it for audio ? Are you feeding a Receiver that has hdmi input jacks ?

Does SMB and connecting to a MySQL library work on the Pi 4? I've copied my user folder from my Pi 3 folder to the Pi 4 but its not connecting to my library and I cant even use the file browser to access the files on my PC.

I loaded LE 9.2 (generic x86_64-9.1.001) on my old Intel NUC - Model DC53427HYE (Core i5-3427U). I played a few videos and there was a very bad digital type distortion on the bottom half of the screen during playback (not all the time though). I decided not to troubleshoot it and reverted back to 9.0.2 and everything is fine again.
I'll try it again later when I have time to troubleshoot the issue
I've read this thread a few times along with the front page 9.2 announcement. What about LibreELEC 9.2 for Generic x86/64 ?
Is it an upgrade from 9.0.2 and where can I download it ?
What does this have to do with Libreelec ?

It might be helpful to know what your htpc is and what version of LE you upgraded from
I have 2 old Intel NUC's and cannot use "power on" for either because of the way they were built. So, I use the kodi "suspend" function instead and that works just fine for me. I suspect that may be your issue too.
Yes, I meant the Keymap Editor addon. Navigating and saving can be difficult at first.
I never tried that one, so I can't say for sure. I can only tell you my experience using 2 completely different MCE usb IR receivers.
By the way, my Harmony 650 has a "power" button but "power toggle" is a display function when pressing the "devices" button and then selecting your device.
You do know you can assign unused buttons to almost any function you want, don't you ?
I tried 2 different MCE usb IR receivers and get 2 different results for the power functions. Here is the one I'm using now:
Genuine HP Infrared IR USB Receiver Sensor 5188-1667 12ft cord OVU400103/00 787805273777 | eBay
By the way, I'm using a Harmony 650 with the Microsoft Media Center Extender profile
I have 2 Intel NUCs (NUC DC53427HYE) running LE 9.0.2 and they do not have this problem. I run the Confluence Skin. Have you tried another skin ?
I right click on any media file and choose "MediaInfo" with this Windows app:
https://mediaarea.net/en/mediainfo
Choose "Text" under the "View" tab after it's setup.
Go to Add-Ons / Libreelec Configuration or
System / Libreelec
then go to Network and look in right panel for Advanced Network Settings
You could also take your NUC to a friend or neighbor that has a 4K AVR and TV to test.
I have a much older pair of Intel i5 NUC's and they handle all HD Audio Streams using passthrough with no issues. The fact that your Vero works means it's probably a driver issue. You should search for others that have the same model NUC as you and verify the audio issue before filing a bug report. You also have to remember that there probably aren't many others that split the audio and video into 2 directions and that using a single hdmi cable corrects the issue. If your AVR were up to date, the problem wouldn't exist, right ?
Have you tried older versions of LIbreelec ?
