What other operating systems have been tried using the Raspberry Pi 4 with a Samsung TV ?
I searched the Kodi Forums and couldn't find any threads with this issue. I did find a thread in the raspberrypi.org forum but it's not that clear. Here's a link: raspberrypi.org forum

Are you using the hdmi port next to the raspberry pi's power jack ?
Put the .gz file in the updates folder and reboot
Did you try different Audio Settings in Kodi ?
System Settings / Audio / Audio Output Device & Number of Channels
Most likely no-one else here has that exact drive. Maybe your logs don't show anything helpful either. Do other USB drives work normally ?
The RPi4 is brand new. I'm sure new software is being developed as we speak. Be patient.
Are you using the hdmi port next to the power jack on the RP4 ?
Did you try toggling the Source button on the Soundbar ?
Did you trying turning each component off and then on once connected ?
I already have that, this thread is about this problem in that version of LibreELEC.

Use HDMI port closest to power jack and then reboot
If you have an RPi 4, you must use the HDMI port next to the power port
Did you unplug the TV for 15 minutes and turn it back on ?
Hey - I know it sounds silly but if you read the YouTube comments, you'll see it fixed the problem for a lot of people.
Just possibly, the Samsung TV "remembers" the older RPi's CEC settings and by turning CEC OFF & ON or unplugging the TV for 15 to 30 minutes, the CEC settings get refreshed for the newer RPi 4 (only a wild guess).

Are only Samsung TV's affected by this issue ?
I use a Logitech Harmony 650 Programmable Remote to operate all my components, including my Intel NUC running Libreelec. There are plenty of threads here discussing remotes and their setup. There is a simple USB device called Flirc USB that simplifies using your TV's remote with your Media Center.
I can't answer your question on web browsers. You'll have to start another thread or search for one discussing that. Make sure you don't ask questions on the Libreelec forum about illegal or pirated streams.
