I have some trouble with hw playback (sw plays fine) hevc files on my box (self handbraked tv series), on the other hand odroid/raybuntu build works well. how can I send you a test file GDPR-2 ? Dont want to share it here public as a matter of law.
try posting the mediainfo and just remove the filename.
anyone using an ext4 usb HDD? I have been having issues playing uhd files be it .mt2s or mkv, they play for 1mn then they get choppy and the audio cuts off. I tried some other files on my NTFS usb HDD and they work fine. Then I downloaded the jellyfish 120mbs files and as I suspected, they play fine from the ntfs HDD but gets choppy/slow motion effect on ext4. Is this a known issue? Wanted to upload logs but the system gives me error using ssh or kodi to upload the logs I think they are too big.
Edit: from the log it appears that audio is also causing a lot of problems
i'm using ext4 on my NAS, and no issues with playing 4k videos via LE9

question, when i use amazon prime, video is decoded in software and its slow, but on android video is decoded using hardware and plays super fast can this be fixed
can't be fixed. netflix and amazon is always sw decoded.

Sorry. i guess my question came out incorrectly, may I know if you have a separate repo for updated addons on your LE9 builds that is not built-in on LE? so I can just download manually the addon and update as needed.
1.0.8 was using the addons from Raybuntu so what I linked you to should work, the other option is force an update of inputstream.rtmp so it pulls it from the new repository

The problem is with your addon, it is incompatible with the newer version of inputstream.rtmp, if you look at the error the NOTICE is coming from the ADDON and not Kodi, the developer needs to update it. It very clearly states "version 2.0.1.0 is incompatible"
Everyone needs to remember this is LE9 which is not even in Alpha stage yet, I can't even use my favorite theme... so expect things not to work.

It's not about banned repo, I dont use those repos/addons and had also problems upgrading RTMP input addon on my second box (on the first it worked fine). I solved it by copying from the first box, but something went wrong from repo side.
Thats not about adamgs build, I have the same issue on RBTV Addon - the live stream is not playable by clicking "OK" on other builds (odroid) in the younger past. So I have also workaround by context menu.
can you share where you got the working rtmp input addon for the latest 1.1.1?
Mate you've been told about the add-ons you have tried migrating are pirate banned add-ons.

seriously guys, as mentioned im talking about the RTMP input addon, i didn't whatsover mentioned any other addon.
again I'm just sharing this, it seems when the device boots up, RTMP gets disabled. tried deleting and reinstall but same issue.

I actually wasn't complaining about anything and I don't intend to, anyway after 5hours the addon migration finished. i'm getting RTMP Input error during bootup.
something like the following addons are incompatible and disabled RTMP Input. i tried reinstalling but same issue.
It took more to my box.

update to 1.1.1, but cant seem to update the two below, tried to delete and add but same issue. they cant be updated.

on 1.0.9 error on inputstream adaptive and RTMP input, tried deleting then reboot. still can't update.
i have the same box and have no issues with 4k hevc files, could you upload a sample?
updating to 1.0.8 still shows 1.0.6
have you tried rebooting the box?
