Just tried the latest devel version on a new sd card. for playback its ok
using the default-skin, the gui "reboot from internal" doesn't do anything when clicked, not sure if this is expected but when I click "reboot from internal" then "reboot" it boots to internal nand.
just fyi, getting this error on a new sd card, start from scratch, I couldn't seem to update joystick. no issues just reporting.
17:29:07.750 T:3976410000 ERROR: CAddonInstallJob[peripheral.joystick]: The dependency on kodi.binary.instance.peripheral version 1.3.7 could not be satisfied.
so nobody has the libwidevine file...
previously there was a script to download it, but it looks like it's not valid anymore for 8.90.4. not sure if somebody can update how to get the widevine after installing netflix addon. since one the major reason to move to LE9 was because of netflix.
burned a new usb for 8.90.4 and installed netflix, how do I install the widevine? thanks.
Display MoreNow I'm *ucked up

you need another sd card to boot le, then try to change dtb from there.
anybody have remote configs for x96 and tx3?
I finally tried this build but I can't get it to boot.
I see the libreelec logo and after then an top left I get this message:
libreelec error in mount_storage: mount_common: Could not mount LABEL=STORAGE
I tried different sd cards, tried to flash it with LE Tool, Rufus and Etcher. Always this message. I also made sure to use right device tree. Can anyone help here?
got the same error, and it was fixed by using different sd card and usb.
i believe wol is not supported
have you tried other usb or sd card?
Are there news on whether we can update to GDPR-2 's Leia build somehow?
Or will it break stuff and is it adviced anyways to start clean with LE Leia build?
LE 8.90.1 is my daily driver right now. primary use is netflix and play files via nas. no issues.
as a user this is generally good, we can have LE and android and supported by tanix.
No one expects fixes in Krypton. Bad news it's still in Leia. It occurs less frequently but it's still there.
The 2 of my samples and logs are coming from newest Leia build.
I feel for you bro, but I really don't encounter subtitle stuttering on our S905X boxes. 99 percent of the movies we watch have external .srt and it plays fine. I don't have S912 to test.
Hi, im using last build but still have trouble with inputstream.rtmp , when i start i get a error no compatible version of rtmp. I tryed tu go to addons and go to update, works , but i reboot and i get same trouble. Is the correct way for update addons? thx!
install this one
as long you install LE on a good sd card, it should work. it's very fool proof. anything not working on LE then just remove sd and device will boot to android. then you can try again on the sd.
on how to boot initially, easiest is the toothpick method, if your device comes with a reset button. but no issues trying the others.
try the latest version first, it's very easy to downgrade if needed
Display MoreDid you run the sample more than once from beginning to an end without backwards rewinding?
Are you playing the sample in 24p mode?
Do you have enabled any motion enhancement in TV settings?
What kind of font do you use to view subtitles in Kodi and what size?
What do you use to play videos? Is it external HDD, LAN, NAS?
I'm playing it via LAN.
I will make a video of my TV later playing the sample.
Just to answer, Tested using Tx3 and X96 box, both have S905X with 1GB ram. We always play movies with subs, and no stuttering.
1. Yes, played the sample more than once, no stuttering
2. Yes, Refresh rate adjustment turned on
3. No
4. I only use Default font and skin, no changes on the settings
5. Copied your file to my NAS and played it via Wireless
Here's the sample file and log. I've run it twice and the stutter is visible in the "My name is Captain James Teberius Kirk" moment
There is a 1 in 15 times chance that the file will play stutter free. It's very random and mostly fresh after restart or changing something in the playback settings.
To reproduce just play the file on default settings with enabled Adjust Display Refresh Rate. Stop and play it again. If you don't stop the file and just rewind it to the begining it will play stutter free.
just tested your sample.mkv, on s905x running 8.90.1 (internal) and 8.2.2.3 (sd) and there is no stutter.
Announcement: Krypton builds are now discontinued.
Does it mean you will be working on Leia too
