Which version of LE is this?
Also post the URL of dmesg | paste
-
It most likely that VIA ChromotionHD is not supported.
Can you post the URL from dmesg | paste
-
I don't know your box but I would guess you need to enter upgrade mode (or something similar), but I don't know how on your device.
According to This it should work

OK - Could be a bug: Ticket 22
-
Firstly how the photon do we know what H/W you are using, let alone the release. It might as well be a Onion KVX-B393 with LE 99.8.001.
My only suggestion is to move from Advanced to Expert and see if that makes a difference.

Did you follow the instructions in This especially "Install basic dependencies"
Otherwise, don't you think it would have been nice to actually show what the error was. Do you honestly think that we can read your screen?
-
Do you honestly expect posting a new thread is going to get it fixed - especially with "still" in the title? There are plenty of threads referring to this issue. Try using the search function for "audio chrome"
LE is just enough OS for Kodi - the chrome addon is a bonus. So just be patient.

Compare
/storage/.config/rc_maps.cfg
/storage/config/rc_keymaps/
and ask your friend to make a backup when it's working again.

Can you connect in Kodi via the tvheadend client? Also are you all on the same subnet 192.168.1.xxx
Also check the settings in Kodi for the server and client
Also try https//192.168.1.106:9982

It's going to be your HDD or device that is storing the data. A fast Flash will be Ok for SD but you're going to need a faster device for HD
You didn't mention what your recording storage device is! -
Please be aware that development on 8.2.5 has ceased with all hands being moved to LE9.
Le Potato is still in alpha along with all the other AML devices - and there are many.
You best bet is to stick with what works and review it in 3/6 months as your requirements change and the hardware improves.

Thanks for the report - keep testing. 8.90.005 is now out.
-
You are using old images/dtb files from a discontinued branch. Try a later version as can be seen Here
-
Did you have /storage on eMMC previously?
Early test releases had the /storage LABEL as "LIBREELEC_DISK" whereas the newer versions have "STORAGE" - check with blkid.
Post the URL from blkid | paste if unsure.

You'll need to install a DVB client and server (Usually tvheadend) so network access is required. There may be a zip file available for the stable version, or you could try one of the nightlys (but not recommended)
This also might help.

You didn't tell us what platform you are using - I'm guessing S905X from previous posts. It would have been *nice* to inform us of that,
Probably the easiest way is to first find out if your DVB Tuner is supported. I'm pretty sure it should be
Access LE via ssh Here
Post the output of "dmesg | paste" and "lsmod | paste" without the quotes

There are *many* RPI, UPS solutions available for a *cost* - some work, some don't - most require additional programs to be installed which alas cannot be installed on LE as it's a R/O system.
