.. and what is a trn9/mvr9 box?

They look pretty benign - unless you're seeing any issues I wouldn't worry. The OZ weather addon doesn't look right though.
You can get more details by enabling debugging.

LE comes with *most* needed programs that one might require for a Home Theatre (In the addons section) or via docker. If LE is missing something, and it is deemed worthy and compatible a request can be made via the forum.
If you require more control then you can try OSMC or XBian which run Kodi but allow a lot more control over what you install.

uk-RidgeHill has also changed. New file:
Rename original.
copy attached file to the folder and rename it
Reboot and rescan in TVH

Do you have any other SBC like a RPi to compare the results? It will confirm if it's a RK issue or more generic and something that needs to be looked into.

I think your best bet is to try 8.90.006 and see if that improves things - however I think it *might* be time to buy a new TV.

Please try LE 8.90.006 and see if you still have the same issues.

Most output can be viewed with:
System: dmesg
Kodi: cat ~/.kodi/temp/.kodi.log
Syslog: journalctl
(More tvheadend logs can be enabled in configuration --> Debugging --> Debug to syslog)

There are certainly errors in the debug log related to either ffmpeg or hevc.
I've created ticket #31

I don't want to disappoint you - BUT I think you are *stuffed* Someone might have a solution but don't hold your breath. Sorry.
-
You are going to have to use the *official* comping instructions as detailed Here especially the dependencies.
If you have issues, please provide full details especially the commands issued,
-
Many thanks for your input - however it has NOTHING to do with LE.

You could TRY generic Here but I don't hold out much hope as Apple are renowned for being sympathetic to open source
