Sorry excuse my ignorance, does this mean even if the scan went through and the channels are locked, they may not work fine?

KD provide a complete list of transponders and SID, VPID, PMT, and APIDs, which I though is the only parameters needed?

I use rpi3 with and I am tuning to DVBc German KabelDeutschland. I used to have a hauppauge solo HD that suddenly stopped working... Hardware and I think recent kernel broke something as well.

I bought this stick since I read that it is cheap and have some future :), anyway it seems I will keep it but I need to buy a new one that should work.

I received my stick, loaded the 1.2 image, stick was detected and scan was perfect, never the less a lot of channels are giving continuity errors, I tried TVHeadend and DVR and no difference.

Thanks CvH, I called Hauppauge and they almost said the same, I will go to the shop to check my options.

Any recommendation which build to use with the Astrometa, since the reason I bought the Solo HD was that Astrometa was not working fine with the rpi.

Did some tests over the weekend, the stick does the same on windows, I have another stick Astrometa which I tested on windows and it is working very normal, also I connected the cable to my TV and channels are also working fine.

DVB T2 on windows is working fine on the SoloHD but DVBc breaks big time ??? any tips or should I contact Hauppauge?

PS: I will try to test using Prog DVB today I don't think it will be different

I have a question, I am using Libreelec (8.0.2) since a long time with Hauppauge Solo HD, everything was fine and after some update I started get a lot of Continuity Errors, CvH comments that this is known, I tried to go back the previous status with not luck, so I simply tested on windows PC to check but interesting the same was happening so it seems to be the signal quality.

On my TV same cable everything is working fine, is there any way to test the signal or an indication if the stick is broken?

Currently I am a bit lost and simply lost all options to view TV, what is your tip which version to use to get the best for me, I even lost track which version should I try.

I tried really a long list and I tried even my old Astrometa tuner and no luck ...

btw, I always use the update option, and I don't see any difference between different distros, should I create a new SD and start over?

my current recall is Libreelec which supported Kodi 17.1 or 17.2 was working fine and I updated due to the subtitle treat.

Any recommendation which build to use will be greart.

Thanks as always for the good work, I have a quick question, I am using a hauppauge SoloHD which used to be working fine, currently most of the channels are breaking and getting a lot of continuity errors like below

2017-09-11 20:26:41.577 TS: DVBC/466MHz/Nickelodeon: MPEG2AUDIO @ #443 Continuity counter error (total 1154)

I tried all drivers and still in the best case get none watchable results , any idea what is going on wrong?

Dvr is only detecting frontend 0 which only have dvbt, frontend 1 which have dvbc, dvbt2 is only visible for dvb-fe-tool when I use the switch-a 0 -f 1 but I can't select it on DvR

A quick comment channels which is not working is locked on a wrong network Id the default starting value the one are working have a 61441 value, can this be the issue??
