The devel Image you are using is not LE10 - it based at a future graphic stack that removes the old x11 and enables HDR and goodnesss. This is not part of "official" LE10.
Ahh, so the new LE10.0 doesn't support HDR in Intel? That makes sense for what I am seeing then. Thanks for clarifying.

Also - FYI - when I connect my current Pulse Eight USB CEC adapter, LE automatically pops up a notification saying, "Pulse CEC adapter attached", and CEC will work... It's just that the signal won't pass through HDR

HDMI 2.0 (fast speed) cable. Not much use for a 2.1 cable yet as the TV nor the NUK supports it...

I am using it with my Samsung NU8000 HDR TV. I normally use a Pulse Eight USB CEC adapter to get the CEC working, but that does not support HDR.
The LE NUK is connected to a Lyngdorf MP-60 which supports CEC, and it was previously connected directly to the Samsung TV, which also supports CC. Neither seems to bring up the CEC adapter in LE.

I am trying to get a USB-C to HDMI adapter with CEC support that will support 10bit HDR. I wanted to be sure it will work before I purchase the adapter.

I am also considering that the NUK seems to have CEC as one of the 'onboard' options to enable in the BIOS, but it does not seem to be registered as an adapter when I boot up LE. Does LE support the Intel onboard CEC chipset? If so, does anyone know how I can get it to work?

OMG... OK so, in the BIOS on my NUK, I disabled the Thunderbolt and Consumer IR under "onboard devices". When I re-enabled them, I get HDR again.
I guess the Thunderbolt connection has something to do with HDR output to the HDMI connection...

Hey again smp , the latest build in post #657 seems the most stable so far, thanks again!
I just noticed however, that it does not output HDR content. I have DRM PRIME enabled, and allowed DRM PRIME to use hardware acceleration.
I connected my Xbox One to the same HDMI cable/port and it sends out HDR no problem, so I don't think it is an issue with the TV/port/config on that side.
Are there any other settings I need to enable/disable to get HDR to output?

With this build installed (9.95.5), there is the option (in system version, to upgrade to 9.97.1. That is what I did.
Hey smp - Is there a latest build using the new 9.97.1 LE10 official build + HDR patches etc?
I have been tinkering with my NUK and the BIOS settings, to see if I can get it more stable. I notice that the 9.97.1 LE build (non HDR) seems to be stable for me.

Does it crash during playback?
Yes, both during playback and just sitting still and doing nothing. I can provide a pasetbin dump of the kodi crashlog, if that helps?
FYI - the build in post #698 is more stable. It only crashes like 2 times per day. This latest image in post #751 crashes every 10-15 mins, and sometimes does a triple or quadruple crash loop.

I tried this build on my NUC and it keeps rebooting every 5-10 mins. Gonna roll back.
Software decoding does not seem to work with DRM PRIME. Disable "Allow using DRM PRIME decoder" and it will play.

Build in post #698 is the latest and greatest. And probably the last one from me, at least until lrusak resume his work on HDR. No idea why it crashes for you, those builds are rock stable on my J4105 box.

Mine works brilliantly, but crashes (reboots) at least 3 times per day. I know this is BETA and this is totally expected, but just want to see if there are any newer versions of software that may be a little more stable.

I would always recommend a backup of settings before trying a new build. That backup can be to local storage, a USB drive, or whatever, often it only takes a few seconds. It saves a load of time if you need to downgrade to an earlier version. Sometimes when you downgrade, some settings may get lost, and a quick restore works wonders. You will also notice that each backup is time and date stamped within its filename, so I often keep several backups going back in time made using various test versions and official builds.
Of course! Are you referring to the built in backup? I usually just copy the .kodi directory and/or tar it up and copy it off the box.
I've never used the built in backup function.
