I'm running LibreELEC on an Intel NUC 7th generation i3 and only Bilinear and Nearest Neighbour scalers are available after updating to this latest BETA.

At HD content I have only bob and nearest neighbour to choose, at SD content every scaler possible.
This is the right behaviour I guess.

I'm playing 1080p content at 2160p resolution, so the scalers should be available. They are available on all previous versions of LibreELEC with the exact same content and resolution. Downgrading to the previous version resolves the issue.
Perhaps this bug is limited to 2160p resolution?

HQ scalers are disabled for 4K (don't ask me why): LE8.2 update mesa, libdrm, intel-ucode (WIP) by piotrasd · Pull Request #1725 · LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv · GitHub

to quote fritsch
QuoteThe problem is not the GLSL but the 4x4 convolution done by Lanczos3. The GPU is too slow to process content > 1920 with this HQ scaling method, which is - from the logs - the same problem with your 3840 file.
Red Overlay on TV with Libreelec if i change to Render Method Basic Shader

Lanczos worked absolutely fine scaling to 2160p with the previous versions of LibreELEC though? I've had no slowdown at all on my NUC.
So why would it be disabled? Is there no way to enable it again? Very disappointing if so.
