No Surround Sound

Passthru set to yes but no surround sound

What sound I do get is very good quality but only through the front speakers, no base or rear speakers

Any idea what settings I need to change?

Found the problem

As well as switching on 'Allow passthrough' I had to switch on 'Stereo upmix'
