[Solved] analog audio stops when switching source on hdmi-cec tv

  • I just installed LibreELEC-RPi.arm-8.0.2.img.gz (Krypton) on my Raspi 1. The Raspi is connected to my TV/Display through HDMI, and CEC works out-of-the-box, so i can use my TV-Remote to control KODI. For audio output i connected the Raspi with my HiFi from Line-Out.

My PC is also connected to the TV (with VGA). When i switch the source from Raspi to PC, Kodi stops playing sound. Searching the Web i found a screenshot showing a setting 'keep audio alive' in System - Audiosettings, but i cant find that setting in LE (and i dont know wether this is the problem).

When i unplug HDMI from Raspi, Music keeps playing for a minute and then stops.

What i want is LE/Raspi not to care wether its connected to HDMI-CEC or not. Is there a configfile i can set this?

  • It's not quite obvious but easy when one knows.

In Settings - System - Input there is a point called device. Choosing this led me to a vast amount of settings for libcec. For me i changed the setting 'when switching source' from pause to do nothing. I LOVE THIS!
