RESOLVED: Just installed and screen flickers/crashes on KODI menu screen

    Hi All,

    Just attempted install of LibreElec.

    Followed the instructions using the USB creator to create a bootable USB on my Mac. I selected Generic AMD/Intel etc. and LibreELEC.x86.8.0.1.img.gz as my version.


    Successfully managed to install LibreElec on the emachines device I have plugged in to my TV. You can view the specs of the machine here on Revo.

    It boots fine - goes through syslinux black screen, then i get the libreelec splash, then the kodi logo splash. I even get as far as the Kodi menus and can occasionally navigate them for a few seconds before the TV screen starts flickering (see img below) - whilst it's flickering the system is completely frozen - I cannot navigate around the menus etc.

    I tried reinstalling using the the bootable USB again and it made no difference.

    Any idea what could be causing this?
