What does the 'Rasberry Pi Tools' addon enable me to do?

Bit of a noob here... It has no GUI so I imagine it enables me to change more things in console, but is there a list of commands/settings that this addon especially enables me to modify?

It will give a list of commands in the info box when you installed it.
As far as I remember it basically adds support to allow access to the GPIO

It's just a bunch of python libraries and camera utilities that allow access to gpio
