There is an issue with decoding AAC 5.1 on the newly launched DVB-T2 here in Germany using LE 8.0.1. The whole issue is being described/discussed here (sadly in german):

In a nutshell you hear droputs while decoding AAC 5.1.
Good news is that it got fixed by a LAV Filter developer in the meantime:
