avahi-daemon configuration

Hi,

By default, which configuration file should LibreELEC use by default:

Code

/etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf

or

Code

/storage/.conf/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf

I ask as I'm trying to use an addon that includes its own mdns implementation and which fails if

disallow-other-stacks=yes

The configuration in `/storage/.config/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf` has this set to `no` whilst the config in `/etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf` is set to yes.

It doesn't read anything from /storage at all AFAIK, so you'd need to build yourself.

Is there a way to go about overriding the default avahi-daemon config? Seeing as its not possible to edit /etc/avahi/avahi-daemon.conf.

When you say build, do you mean build LibreELEC from source, with the configuration modified?

You could stop the systemd unit and restart it with your custom configuration file as an option. It could be automated in autostart.sh for example. Be creative

Very true 😀. Was hoping to make it (GitHub - shanemeagher/service.librespot: Spotify Connect Addon for LibreELEC) as straight forward as possible to avoid tinkering with people's setups. Will make this Plan B, and try to get librespot to play nice with avahi.
