How to set/increase default volume (boost)

As in when you go to sound settings during playback, and you can boost the dB level, is there a way to set a default boost, as I need to have my TV up very high and if I switch back to another source from the Pi, it blows me across the room

There should be a button at the bottom that says "use these settings as default" - or similar to that.

I am on digital output and I have to use my surround receiver's remote to adjust volume in movies.
