With libreelec 7 and 8 deinterlacing and upsampling not the best vq due limitation of S905 chipset with driver/kernel now (I think Amlogic can better deinterlacing, scaling, but yet not good implemented)
So, when I need watch 576i DVD or dvcam record, I think the best solution to switch output to 576I, and give the deinterlacing and scaling job to TV, what I think make it better vq.
The same job can make with 1080i sources too.
maybe good idea make at libreelec control panel or at video setting a possibility to enable or disable deinterlacing, with/without 1080i 576i video output.
possible make it?
