Libreelec update notifications during playback

I'm getting Libreelec update notifications appearing during movie playback. Usually two popups one after another. Is there a way to switch this notification off during playback? I can't find any options.

It really is distracting having these notifications appearing when I'm playing something.

I'm running the latest 7.95 beta.

You can disable update notifications, but only on/off and not during playback. Kodi has no status flag we can use to detect playback and not-send the notification, or any way to suppress the notifications we send.

Thanks, disabling that notification will work fine for me.

When I read this I remembered that I have seen a thread about detecting active playback using jsonrpc over at the Kodi forum.
Terminal, is Kodi being used

Maybe something that could be implemented in LE to prevent update notification from displaying.
