Command line

  • Hi All,

I'm new to Raspberry Pi and I've set-up the kodi Just enough OS on my machine.

It's great and does everything I want it to do (standalone streaming music player)

I'm going to add a Just Boom Hat amp and all I need to know is how to bring up the command line in the Libreelec OS. Am I missing something, or is there an easy way to bring up the command line in the OS to download drivers, etc.?

    Libreelec V 7.0.2
    V 16.1

    Kodi 16.1 Git c327c53

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks
    Jon

  • Use SSH.

    Irusak,

I've tried SSH, but I can't get a connection for some reason.

I can connect to my Pi running the debian OS, but I get an error when I enter the user and pw details for libreelec

Can I confirm it should be :

    User root
    pw libreelec

    Thanks for your quick answer

    Jon

  • Did you enable ssh in the LibreELEC settings addon?

Great thanks Irusak. I had enabled it, but I also disabled the password in my first attempts. I cancelled that and I've managed to login. That's solved me a lot of grief.

    thanks
    Jon
