Display flashing every 10s

Hi,
I have an MXQ S805 1GB Android Mini box.
I had a problem with the display flashing with the Android firmware: 10s screen is black, then during 1s it come back normal, then again 10s screen black and so forth.
I was hoping to get rid of this problem with Libreelec, but unfortunatelly, it is still there.
I would like to understand what is the root cause of this behavior.
How could I do this analysis?

Sounds like a hardware fault to me. You might try to change the hdmi cable or ask someone to measure the connections of the hdmi socket and re-solder if neccessary.
