[RPi5] "LibreELEC-RPi5.aarch64-13.0-nightly-20260714-c812407" updates every time my ENTIRE library !!!

  • Hello,

    First : sorry for my bad english : I'm french ;) !

So, I updated LibreELEC on all my RPi5s by downloading the file "LibreELEC-RPi5.aarch64-13.0-nightly-20260714-c812407.img.gz".

Since then, I've had a very annoying problem: whenever I want to update my media library to add only new content, my *entire* library updates, which takes hours. It's a nightmare!

Previously (with the version "LibreELEC-RPi5.aarch64-13.0-nightly-20250119-c72d843.img.gz"), it would just add the new items in a few minutes. Does anyone have an explanation and/or a solution ?

Thanks so much in advance for your replies.

    Have a great day,

    Nathalie

  • I haven't experienced anything similar myself, so no idea what the issue is, but the first step is to update to the current/latest LE13 nightly image (20260817 is available) and test again. If no change, put Kodi in debug mode, scrape media, then run pastekodi over SSH and share the URL generated so we can see the log of what happened.

  • I wasn't seeing anything in the logs so glad that you figured it out. The only odd thing I noticed from the logs was that you appear to have everything in the same folder with .nfo files being used to scrape things. That often causes issues with scraping as Kodi expects each movie in it's own folder e.g. smb://server/share/movies/movie(2020)/movie(2020).{avi,nfo,sub} .. but if it works /shrug
