Once i realized lg webos running on LG TV is a linux box, for which you have to enable ssh access to sideload kodi on it (I assume linux version of kodi runs on it), an idea crossed my mind - i could try to copy netflix app from the webos linux box to my libre elec linux box and try to execute it...doable?
Why do this? Because using lg webos is annoying, switching back and forth from hdmi (libre elec) to tv homescreen creates issues of usability for me (due to my old sony AVR).
My LE box was serving all my needs until netflix addon got abandoned. My goal is using tv as a stupid monitor..
Edit: if this was in theory possible, it would open up a whole universe of TV ready apps that could be sideloaded to LE from webos platform
Edit2: first issue - lg tv probably runs arm, and my le box is x86 HP micro pc, so I am on the wrong architecture to even try it..
