BananaPI-M2 Berry

    Hi,

    I have a BananaPI-M2 and use it only for audio. It has onboard SATA and there I attached an 500G 2,5" drive as storage. Boot from SD.

    I now have 12.0.2 running on it but is it possible to update? The update function in the menu is on , but nothing happens.


    Edit: I tried the 12.2.1 but that does not boot. Is that due to the u-boot ? And how to fix that?

    This is the same issue as in Banana Pi M2U No boot

    What I found is that U-Boot doesn't work for some reason. What you can do is to first boot known working image, e.g. 12.0.2 and then manually update it with higher versions like described here. That way you'll keep original working U-Boot and have new userspace.
