LE not reachable by Windows PCs

  • I have several LE boxes running on old laptops. In the past, the LE instances would show on my network and I could connect to them. They all have no trouble reaching my media server (win 11), but none of the windows PCs will connect to the LE instances to look at files.

My windows network: One Windows 10 PC that I use as a media server, one Win 10 laptop, and one Win 11 laptop (two Win 11 if I put my work laptop on my home network and try to test with that). I can usually see one or sometimes two instances of the LE boxes (not all three), but when I try to connect, it just tells me it can't find the device and that the name must be wrong. When I refresh the network page, it picks up at least one of the boxes again (sometimes two, but never that third for some reason), but gives me the same error.

Each LE instance has a static IP address. I have SMB enabled on all three with min SMB being SMB v1 and max being SMB v3. I have enabled pretty much all of the various communications protocols to see if any of them will allow me to communicate to the LE instances and enabled the share external drive button. My server appears to be using SMB v2, so I have also set one of the boxes to only use SMB v2. I am running LE 11.0.1 and 11.0.6 (x2).

Also, for clarification, I can connect via http (viewing the instance of Kodi), but not as a network device where I would be able to get to the file system.

Sorry if this has been answered somewhere. I searched here and have done some general google searches, but haven't found anything useful.

    Thanks in advance!
