This isn't so much a LE question as it is a question for those using a Pi as a media server, and this forum seems like a good place to reach those folks...
I'm running LE on a RPi4 with the Pi's HDMI plugged into one of the Denon's inputs and the Denon's 4K output plugged into my Samsung TU9000 TV, and the TV frequently loses its connection to the Pi, usually when stopping or starting a video in LE. Switching the TV to another input, then back to the Pi, clears up the problem until next time.
I don't know if the Denon is at fault or the Pi, and I don't have an easy way to troubleshoot beyond using certified 4K HDML cables (I am) and trying a different HDMI input on the Denon (I did). The RPi4 has a micro HDMI jack which requires an adapter to accept a standard cable, and I'm wondering if maybe that adapter is introducing enough signal loss to make my HDMI connection borderline. Anyone else seeing anything like this?
I do have a spare PC that I could try as a Kodi server to see if the problem occurs with a different HDMI hardware source but thought I'd ask you guys if you had any ideas before I go to that trouble?
