I have an old TBS Tuner - TBS6284 (https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/TBS6284) - Which I use in a TVHeadEnd server.
I wanted some opinions on whether it is worth upgrading?
A couple of things annoy me about this device....
1. I have to build the drivers each and every time I change kernel
2. It's stealing one of my pcie slots
Are there any better modern offerings ? USB? I read that some are supported in kernel! Power savings?
