Pi 5 no boot with fresh image 12.0.1

    Hi all,

    I just flashed an SD Card with the Latest Stable Version (2024.08) (LibreELEC-RPi5.aarch64-12.0.1.img.gz) for a new Pi 5 that worked fine with this card (e.g. with Raspberry Pi OS).

    The LibreELEC seems to start first (expands partition and reboots)

    After this inital reboot, shows then the LibreELEC boot screen on any boot (LibreELEC-(official: 12.0.1):

    But then always this weird screen below:

    After this nothing else happens. I re-flashed the card several times and tried other SD Cards as well. The power supply is the official one, active cooling is in place and no other devices are connected.

    Any suggestions?

    I have the same issue. I bought a raspberry Pi 5 (8GB RAM), official power supply, even the official SD card.

    I get the same screen Misha posted. I also tried several other SD cards, even other HDMI cables etc. I have a rasperry pi 3 and a raspberry pi 1b running and tried with the SD card for the 1b as well (had to install new libeelec as not compatible). Nothing worked.

    After searching I found this thread and tried the nightly build. The nightly build is able to boot however I'm not able to use my remote which defeats the purpose of using the pi instead of my computer.

    Are there any news on when to expect a functioning build?
